The Cove is situated on the waterfront at North Arm Cove. North Arm Cove really is a hidden piece of paradise. It is a secluded and tranquil village on the northern shore of Port Stephens. It is hard to believe a place like this can exist so close to Sydney, but this area remains one of the few little known and minimally developed parts of NSW.

It is accessed via the M1/F3 freeway, 13km north of Karuah. It is around 2 hours drive from Sydney and 45 minutes from Newcastle. Despite its seclusion, the Cove is only a 5 minute drive, on a sealed road, from the Pacific Highway.

The nearest shop is at the famous Rock service station on the Pacific Highway, just 10 minutes drive from the house. This is a great place to stock up on essentials such as milk etc. For more extensive supplies, IGA at Karauh is 10 minutes away. In addition, Coles at Tea Gardens is 20km from the property.

North Arm Cove is one of the main gateways to the Myall Lakes National Park, a network of interconnected lakes and rivers that is one of the most popular boating destinations in the country. These lakes are superbly equipped for recreational boating and fishing.

North Arm Cove is a top spot for nature lovers. It abounds with hundreds of different species of birds and is home to a large population of wallabies who hop through the village most evenings and often stop by to check out whats on the Barbie!!

Dolphins are constantly frolicking in the waters of Port Stephens, and can often be seen from the deck at the Cove.

Gorgeous House

  • 5 of 5

Amazing house, we had such a great time. Highlights were the pool table and table tennis, the kayaks, and the gorgeous views. A little far away from shops and community but fabulous if you're trying to just enjoy the serenity and family time.

What a gem

  • 4 of 5

What a great house, in a great spot, with great inclusions - needless to say we loved the house, the location and what was on offer. Based in a sleepy hamlet, far away from everything - but close enough to Tea Gardens for supplies. Stay here and you will not want to go home. The owners are great to deal with and very very accommodating. We will be back - I only hope SOON

Fantastic waterfront stay

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here on the long weekend for Muns 50th. We absolutely loved the view and thought the property was great. Bedrooms were roomy, plenty of places to sleep. The kitchen was great and easy to use. Loved the top & bottom deck areas. The ladies also enjoyed the use of the canoes. We would stay here again

We were blessed with beautiful winter weather that complemented the outstanding location. We relaxed on the deck, enjoyed the fire and had an exquisite time. Would thoroughly recommend the house to anyone who would like to wind down - also suits families.

  • 2 of 5

A wonder position but an old property which smells very mouldy. Needs tone cleaned thoroughly. Pantry items listed on website but there were none in the kitchen.
