Great location, clean and owners respond quickly to any requests. Thanks Paula for relaxing stay.
Excellent and close to everything
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakesong with our two dogs. The place was very clean and close to beach and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and even had plastic containers. We loved that you could drive on the beach nearby and Ballina was only a short drive away also. Ticked all boxes for husband and myself. We are going to rebook again for next year.
Clean, well-maintained, but disappointing propert.
Very clean and well-maintained property. Spacious living, dining and kitchen areas. Luxurious, super-comfortable king size bed with quality bed linen. Great appliances. Very small television and uncomfortable lounge seating. Outdoor setting is also uncomfortable, the seats being very low with no backs and made of stone. Bathroom looks lovely but is quite impractical. Location is good, being easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and an absolutely stunning pet-friendly beach. Overall, sadly, the highlights did not compensate for the lowlights and we would not stay there again.
Great house and lovely environment for hoomans and pooches!
So happy you enjoyed your stay James. All the best.
Great location, amazing facilities. The house has everything you could ever want and you can take your 4 legged babies. They enjoyed their stay as much as we did.
Pet Friendly Perfection
Well appointed. Fantastic location.
This stay was our 4th and we just keep coming back.
Just a short drive south of Byron Bay, Lennox Head is a perfect seaside escape, with spectacular coastal scenery including a gorgeous lake for kayaking and canoeing and the beautiful Seven Mile Beach. At the southern end of the beach is Lennox Point, the world-famous point break. Lennox has a great coastal village atmosphere, with a main street full of boutiques, cafes, restaurants, post office and supermarket and a long strip of park adjoining the beach opposite, the perfect place for sitting in the shade of the pandanus palms and enjoying fish and chips.
Named in 1882 by Captain Rous, after the Duke of Richmond and Lennox, the village was established for the timber and land, and dairying and cane farming followed. Once the coastal road was sealed in the 1970’s, the population expanded and the town thrived.
Tea trees line Lake Ainsworth, on the village's northern edge 200 metre from Lakesong. The waters are reputed to have therapeutic qualities.
The Byron locals who often find Lennox a quieter seaside place than their own bustling town for a good meal or coffee (it’s just 15 minute’s drive south) and you can see why the locals love the place so much.
Lennox Head Markets, which offer a wide variety of goods from handicrafts to tropical fruit and vegetables.
