Step back in time in this 1910 Canowindra farmhouse built of solid block typical of the era. Canowindra farmers Richard and Florence Statham have restored this as a comfortable guest house and farm-stay. It has one twin room, two queen rooms, and for extra guests it also has a foldout couch in the sleepout. There is a verandah with tables and barbeque, a kitchen-dining room, lounge room and one shared bathroom.
Essentials (tea, coffee and milk) are provided, as well as farm produce (eg figs, olives, wines) upon request, or better you can pick your own figs (Jan-March).
Rosnay is located 8km southwest of Canowindra, 5.1km from the Rivers Road turnoff on the Cowra road.
Rosnay is a mixed organic farm and winery, created by the Statham family in 1997. Guests are invited to learn about the farm and taste the farm products with the Stathams in their shed, and are able to walk around the farm, ride bikes etc.

Set in a vineyard and part of an old farmhouse. Wine made here very good as well as olive and fig products. Very friendly and helpful family run affair.
Delightful cottage set in tranquil grounds amidst lavender and fig trees. Richard, Sam and Florence were very hospitable. Generous provisions of eggs, butter, milk and bread. The house itself was full of character and very comfortable. Definitely recommended for a quiet weekender or longer.
A little bit of Tuscany in Canowindra
As 4 friends gathered to celebrate birthdays we could not have picked a more enchanting place. The accommodation was comfortable and rustic. Lots of fond memories for all of a bygone time. We had the most relaxing of stays with our hosts surrounded by fig trees, vines and olives. Quiet and magic.
Wonderful value for money
We had a really good time (despite the heat) at Rosnay, and Sam was very friendly and hospitable. The cottage was comfortable without being pretentious, and everything that we needed, was available.

We stayed the two nights before Christmas day. Nothing was too much trouble for Mike at this busy time of year. The cottage was clean and very functional. The breakfast foods a bonus.
