Wonderful home away from home

  • 4 of 5

We had a great couple of days away at this holiday home. The beach is less than a 1 minute walk across the road. The house is very comfortable & has everything you could need. The owners accomodated our last minute booking even though they were en route to Australia from Spain at the time. The only suggestion would make is that the games room (which is in the garage) could do with an update, not that it bothered the kids.

Owner's Response: Thankyou so much Rebecca. We were happy to accomodate you. The games room will be the next thing on our list to update. ( eg new table tennis table and some new games and maybe another lick of paint.) We really appreciate your honesty as it helps us serve you better next time. Thankyou for staying at A Place by the Sea Kind regards Kris and Anton

Gorgeous decor! Great location!

  • 4 of 5

We loved the quiet street with a short stroll to our own beach.  The accommodation was comfortable and beautifully decorated and sitting on the big deck or by the fireplace was great for the adults and the kids loved the downstairs playroom.  A true gem!

We had a lovely relaxed time! Our children loved the bunk beds and the spa bath. I enjoyed the wonderful ambience created by the open fire and sitting on the deck listening to the waves at night.
