Guest Book : 'We had a fabulous time in Barbados, and the villa was even better than we had hoped-what a great swimming pool! Yvette looked after us all very well as did Harold and Luton.
We are all very keen to return to Barbados as soon as we are able, and will definitely be in touch as 'Lime Villa' would be our first choice for accommodation.'
'We had a wonderful stay at your villa. After visiting Barbados on previous occasions we wanted to be near to many of the places we had been. The swimming pool is a lovely size as we noticed the villa opposite has had a very small pool put in. Well, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we would like to book it again for next Christmas and New Year if this is possible.'
'Thank you for a wonderful holiday once again. When you know availability and prices for next year, would be so kind as to let me know. Thanks again!'
Guest Book: Hi David, Thank you.
I have completed the review. We had a fab time and have no hesitation in recommending the villa in future.
Yvette is lovely and looked after us so well.
Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Now retired, I grew up in Cockfosters, Enfield, N.London.
My wife and I now live in a little village in Bedfordshire, now we split our time between home with the family, and luxurious long stays in beautiful Barbados.
David Wright purchased this villa in 1997
Holetown is the heart of the West Coast of Barbados.
This is the Most fashionable area in Barbados, with the best restaurants, hotels, bars and shopping. The West Coast (platinum coast) boasts some of the best beaches in all of the Caribbean, and all are within a short walk from the Villa.
We fell in love with this location as it was so close to the favourite places, that we visited each and every time we came to Barbados.
We were fortunate to acquire the land before the West Coast boom started, and we built Lime Villa in 2000 when our children were teenagers, to be a relaxing family holiday retreat.
This can now be your ideal home from home in Barbados.
It is a real home from home, that will cater for your every need.
Simple things such as UK sockets and UK voltage, plus US sockets for those from the USA/Canada.
The tap water in Barbados is safe to drink, It is close to the best shops and bars.
Villa is equipped with Cable TV and WiFi Internet, so all the family can relax, plus you can keep in touch with home, or work, as often or as little as you choose.
A huge pool, with lots of sun deck space and nine pool loungers. Or you can choose from any of the three cool shaded patios.
You choose where to relax and how much, or how little sun you need.
The garden is large and fully enclosed, landscaped to allow privacy and security.
Plus a quiet shaded balcony upstairs, to have an intimate breakfast, lunch or dinner, or to retreat and relax reading a book in the luxurious rocking chairs overlooking the West Coast.
We are frequent visitors to Barbados and have stayed in a few different locations and accommodation styles. Villas have been our preferred over the past few years as they have given us more flexibility with young children.
Whilst staying at another Villa in the Westport Estate last year we saw Lime Villa and were impressed with its vast plot, So after finding it on the web and contacting David we gave it a go this year, and were so glad we did. !!
It’s a Large Villa with 4 Large Bedrooms which are all finished to a good standard, there is a lovely feel to the downstairs layout and was perfect for 2x Families with two energetic kids that spent their time between Pool, Garden & playing inside in the shade (obviously near the TV!!) The property feels very safe and secure.
The private Pool is the biggest I have seen at a Villa priced as competitively as this one is and Kendrick, the Pool man is a lovely guy who seems to know all there is to know about the Beautiful Island he lives on and is great to chat with when he comes in a couple of times a week.
The house is kept tidy by Maureen (118), She’s great, and comes in and goes about her business without anyone really knowing she’s there. We don’t think she grasped our disappointment in having to return home to a foot of snow, but why would she. :-)
The Balcony provides a good view of the Sunset and at night made a great place to sit and relax with a few Mount Gay Rum’s.
5 minutes max to Holetown in the Car or you could walk it or get the bus , Once your there I recommend Zaccios Restaurant and Bar, Happy hour 4-6pm, great food and atmosphere, Try the Flying Fish Sandwich. !!
We would defiantly look to go back to Lime Villa and would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a large, Relaxing, Great value villa that offers families loads of space and a great pool.
Really well equipped villa and superb value for money.
Amazing swimming pool set in lovely maintained gardens. Approx 15 minute walk to the nearest beach and about 5 minute drive to Holetown with its lovely restaurants. Taxis are reliable and reasonable cost but highly recommend car hire which we had delivered to the villa by Stoutes Car rental. All mod cons and clean, well maintained property. Wifi was great. We were 2 families of 4 and were very comfortable. Kids absolutely loved it. (13 -17 year olds) AC in all bedrooms. I Would not hesitate to use this Villa again or recommend to friends.
Great place, plenty of room for us to eat together, inside or outside, with enough room in the Villa not to be on top of each other. Pool area is great and a good sized pool, bbq area and plenty of sun loungers to laze around on in comfort and privacy. The great thing as well, is the close proximity to the West Coast Beaches
We booked as a 7 person family, 4 adults and three children(6, 9 and 12) and we all had our own rooms and space, the villa is well maintained and has a large pool and spacious gardens, the facilities are great with all the utensils provided. Maureen the cleaner came every few days and the pool and gardener also came every few days, so the place was immaculate. The villa is a five minute walk from the lovely beach, which is from a postcard, it is a 10 minute walk from the shops or about 1.5 km, we walked most of the time and usually got a taxi back with shopping. No negatives from the villa, David was excellent in communication and booking was done with ease. A great holiday
We had a great stay in Lime Villa. It was accurately described on its web page and the facilities listed were all available and in good working order. It is not described as luxurious, which reflects reality but it is well furnished spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and in good working order, and the local staff were very helpful, specially when we loked ourselves out of the safe with our documents inside! Davis the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Our breakage deposit was returned promptly and without fuss a wek or so after we got back. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable well located good value villa in Barbados. Hole town is not far away, and while we had a car for shopping trips we often walked into Holetown so that we could have a beer or two without having to drive back. We tried the full range from the luxury Sandy Lane to the street food served out of the back of cars in the supermarket car park, and never had a bad experience. Oh and Bajan drivers must be the most polite in the world!
Excellent holiday! Everything we needed was provided. A car rental was a good choice as we were a bit far to walk for seniors. Having a pool is wonderful. The only event that shadowed our trip was the complaint from the neighbour that we were noisy chatting by the pool.... At 6:50pm!
