Nestled atop a cloistered ridge, Villa Tres Ninas welcomes its guests with fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains hugging the coast of Costa Rica’s celebrated southern zone. Directly across from Hermosa Beach and overlooking the famous “Whale’s Tail” reef in Ballena National Park, guests enjoy both privacy and the many outdoor activities available in one of the most biodiversity-rich areas of the world. Wide and expansive Pacific vistas are afforded over bucolic lowland and river expanses from a location providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. Contrasting comparable views requiring a fifteen or twenty minute trek over dubious roadways, Villa Tres Ninas is a quick three minute ride up the well maintained Jardines del Morete road. The villa’s main entrance features a secure, remote controlled gate leading to the brick lined drive and private portico and carport.
....more searching for paradise...: While contemporary in design, architecturally a design we call tropical contemporary, the first approach while entering the villa provides a sense of nature’s privacy with lush foliage, and the natural stones and hardwoods that adorn the villa. The fusion of the tropical contemporary design continues throughout the house. Slate floors, teak stairs and doors coupled with natural hues and colors afford a calm and grounded sense as framed by their contemporary surroundings. While incorporating a modern theme and every convenience, the rainforest and environment of the southern Costa Rican Pacific coast necessitates a blend of this contemporary theme with appointments that compliment this beautiful setting. To further achieve this amalgam of the natural and modern, hand crafted, custom furnishings and artwork have been imported from Bali. The result is a blend of casual elegance and comfortable luxury.
....the search for paradise continues....: Wrap around coral stone decks are found on both the upper and lower levels of the villa provide open and majestic vistas of the surrounding environment and the expansive Pacific. On the horizon, beyond the crashing surf visible on the Whale’s Tail lies Cano Island…a marine treasure ideal for exciting day trips of snorkeling, whale watching and adventure. Each window of the villa deliberately has Cano Island as its focal point. Villa Tres Ninas’ tropical contemporary construction fits perfectly into its fabulous natural setting as a mountain/beach retreat of wonderful beauty and comfortable scale. The liberating 180-degree vista provides fantastic views of the sunset, stars and exotic local flora and fauna, including toucans, hawks, coatis and howler monkeys. A five minute drive provides access to local food shopping, banks and eateries in Uvita.
....at last, paradise found!: Ten minutes in either direction along the coastal highway places you in Dominical and Ojachal, providing easy access to eclectic restaurants, shops and local entertainment. Villa Tres Ninas is beautifully furnished, fully equipped and offers a full spectrum of concierge services. The concierge will fully arrange a broad array of unique activities...from canopy zip line adventures, snorkeling, kayaking, fishing excursions, surfing, ATV activities/tours, horseback riding and more.Dining in the area is diverse and eclectic and our concierge will provide any and all assistance is finding the best locations. Daily house keeping is always provided for guest comfort and ease. Twenty four hour emergency services are available in the unlikely event a need should arise. On the grounds of the villa, other concierge services can be coordinated including massages, yoga sessions and the services of a chef to prepare special events or meals.
Jules and Glen (proud owners of VILLA TRES NIÑAS)
Our Costa Rican wedding - This photo captures such a very special day for us! We've been friends since high school, reconnected 15 years ago, built upon our friendship and married as best friends and so much more in Costa Rica in June 2010. Three years later, we found and fell in love with VILLA TRES NIÑAS and became the proud owners.
Jules and Glen purchased this villa in 2013
We are happy to rent our villa to guests who are locals or visiting Costa Rica as everyone who stays here experiences the magical beauty, peace, and calming effect of this enchanting country. For the adventuresome, there are plenty of fun activities as well. Please reach out if you have any questions or just want to share your experiences with us and our friends.
My wife and I just noticed the listing to this house in Uvita, Costa Rica and it wasn't on this site before. We stayed there in June. When we opened the front door with the concierge, we knew we were in a great place...the ocean view through the house from the front door just set the tone. We like to eat in and the kitchen was perfect for cooking and staying in and lots of attention to details all over the house. Morning coffee in bed with the big ocean view was a great time of day and the kids loved the house and the day trips that were scheduled for us. Our vacation was a winner at this villa.
This was a wonderful experience for us. Raul the concierge catered to our every need and want. He was very attentive, and without him we would have been lost. He went above an beyond our expectations and truly made this a wonderful trip. The personal chef we hired for dinner was great and provided such a wonderful menu with several things to choose from. The villa is absolutely breathtaking, and the pictures do not fully depict how impeccable it truly is!!! Definitely a must see!
The house is luxurious and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The mountain and ocean view is breathtaking. Perfect for relaxing after our very adventurous days of hiking, snorkeling, riding ATV's, jumping from waterfalls, visiting the beach... Loved the lap pool! The boys were happy with the DVD collection. Watching movies was a nice way to end our days.
Alex, the concierge, was great. He set us up on the best snorkeling excursion ever! Much more than snorkeling. We also visited two private jungle islands with wild macaws and anteaters and saw crocs and monkeys on the river portion of the tour.
Although a bit nervous about mountain driving I felt comfortable on the paved roads and the drive leading up to the house.
Our family had the time of our lives!
Staying at Villa Tres Ninas was a real pleasure for our family. I typically view nearly EVERY vacation home in Costa Rica as I research our trips, and we were very pleased with our choice of this contemporary home. We chose it for the Dominical/Uvita area, which was the perfect combo of great amenities and activities while still feeling a bit off the radar. We chose it for the modern, luxurious design that was still relaxing and laid back. We loved the ocean views throughout the house, and the way the home opened up to the outside pool area, where our two girls practically lived. Killer kitchen. Best shower in Costa Rica in the MBR!
Dealing with the owner and the concierge was very easy and helpful, we felt very taken care of. We split our trip between Uvita and the Osa on this trip, which was great. But I'd easily stay in this home for the entire vacation next time, the house and the local area are so worth a nice extended stay. Highly recommended.
Each day offered a new discovery! This home was perfect for our family of multiple ages & on our first trip to Costa Rica for my daughter's wedding. She & her husband love to surf & had discovered the laid back beach vibe area of Dominical nearby several years ago. I wasnt sure what to expect but did a lot of research online for our accomodations & this home delivered & exceeded every expectation!
There is so much to do & see here....a tropical paradise! But one could just spend the entire week enjoying the breathtaking ocean view & lounging around the pool of this lovely home, ....watching the toucans and butterflies! I can only imagine what whale & dolphin season would be like here. It was even better than the photos & the owners are SO nice & accomodating! With the concierge service, it felt like a 5 star hotel and it even had a lovely bar/restaurant within a short walk & offering more panoramic views! We ended up having the rehearsal dinner there with an excellent new chef! We enjoyed the in-home chef service as well, for a wonderful Mother's Day dinner. Best massages ever were a special treat. We really appreciated Alex's attentiveness & in booking snorkle excursions & a local salon for wedding day! He offered recommendations on beaches & local restaurants ...so time saving...he even called on the Uvita "Saturday market" for gift shopping!
We packed in surfing, paddleboarding, waterfall hikes & snorkeling & just ran out of time. But we also enjoyed daily swims in the lovely pool, card games at the dining table, checking in with U.S news on the t.v, a few favorite family movies with the large CD selection of course the wifi convenience. This home offered contemporary elegance, with quality, tasteful decor & furnishings. It was very comfortable for all, even my elderly parents. The owners have thought through all the little details. The only negative was.....it was hard to leave!
We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property for a week and enjoy the beautiful mountainside view. Each morning we were awakened by the song of birds, the sight of Toucans as we took in the lush countryside while drinking fresh Costa Rican coffee purchased at the local supermarket in Uvita. The pool was one of my favorite places as one felt as if you were blending into the sight of whale tail in the horizon. Beautifully appointed with tasteful furniture and fresh flowers on the table the accommodations were great. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning bone chilling. We took an ATV tour (Adventure Motor Sports) of 6 hours which was awesome! Great pictures and sights everywhere filled our cameras. Sloths, toucans, birds and waterfalls as well as a refreshing crossing of a river resulted in great memories. Although it was not whale season we had the good fortune to sight a humpback and her calf on a trip around the gulf during a snorkel tour. Although the rains made the snorkeling less than perfect the whale sighting was worth it. Food places were plentiful and of good quality. Try a soda (Costa Rican small restaurant) for a delightful freshly prepared native meal. If you are an adventurer and want to meet Costa Rica up close a 4 wheel vehicle is a must! Breakfast at the Dome was delicious, Sandwiches at Roadshack Deli were generous and delicious. A day trip to Quepos and an adventure in town was fun and a window into a typical Costa Rican town. For a breathtaking trip try going to San Isidro on a Thursday where the local Feria is open for business and fresh fruits and vegetables as well as Costa Rican delicacies ara available a unbelievably affordable prices. Nothing like fresh pineapple slices, fresh mango and freshly made Passion fruit juice for breakfast. House is fully stocked with all of the utensils and gadgets that you could ever need.
