Chrismas in July

  • 4 of 5

We book this property for Chrismas in July the weather was cold and wet with high winds it was miserable just like back home.

In the Bank House we were as snug as a bug in a rug

We bring all the trapping for for a great Christmas dinner put up the decoration and the tree with presents around it. Then it all begins and the four nights were over before you knew it. that it for this year now we can look forward to the next.

Thanks again

Brilliant Place

  • 5 of 5

Nine ladies booked in for two nights. We arrived on the Friday just in time for it to snow!! The location is excellent, right in the middle of the town, which has some lovely pubs and gift shops, not just the sock factory. Its spacious, homely, and warm downstairs, with lovely rooms and electric blankets on all the beds upstairs. The owner was lovely to deal with, and as girls that go away every year together, this grand old building has been one of our favourites!

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

There was a group of 11 and our stay was short but sweet. The house is very comfortable our only hiccup occurred when the couple in the lower bedroom were locked out of their room. We weren't warned about the dead bolt, but the owners rep quickly came and fixed this for us.

The house and rooms were otherwise clean and comfortable with plenty of room both inside and out in the garden, having off street parking was also a bonus.
