Comfortable place for a big group

  • 4 of 5

We had a lovely weekend in Trentham with space to sleep all 14 of us. The sleeping arrangements were made clear to us before we arrived so there were no surprises about sharing sleeping spaces. As we were all a family celebrating an 80th birthday this was not a concern. We booked the lodge and cottage together and they both had very warm comfortable beds, a fantastic shower/bath and, combined, they had just enough cooking equipment and cutlery/crockery for us to eat together at the large dining table in the lodge. Trentham is a lovely little town and the accommodation is only a short walk from the main street.

Cosy for cold nights

  • 3 of 5

Great spot, lovely fireplace however we didn't have a working TV so couldn't really sit and enjoy it. Highlight of the stay was the amazing hot shower.

Owner's Response: Hi Kim, the infamous remote for the tv was located under the lounge which controls the t.v. Im a good finder and found it in 2 minutes, its a shame. The caretaker will double check every time from now on that the remote is where it should be. Thank you for your feedback. Jo

Odd Layout

  • 4 of 5

Perfect for getting away for just a night. The house was an odd layout - can sleep up to 10 people but there is only 1 bedroom. Beautiful large fireplace (although we had to go buy matches and fire lighters).

Owner's Response: So sorry I did not let you know, because most of my clients are child friendly - combined friends and family groups I do put the matches high up with the first aid kit and torch and fire blanket for arrival.
