It is centrally located within walking distance to the shops, café’s, waterfront, Portland Leisure and Aquatic Centre and boat ramp. Nothing has been overlooked from the large living area, to the cosy sitting room and fully equipped French provincial style kitchen for the culinary adventurous, with a dishwasher to save you time. It’s stylish interior is complimented with all the modern conveniences you will need. Alandra accommodates up to 10 people and is popular with families and couples with 2 queen beds, 3 single beds, a double bed and a port-a-cot as well as 2 bathrooms.

A fully equipped laundry,fresh linen air-conditioning and ducted heating throughout will make your stay effortlessly comfortable. Secure off street parking for both vehicles and a boat and trailer is available. An enclosed backyard with BBQ and outdoor entertaining area makes this the house for all families and fisherman who want both style and practicality.

This property is registered with the Glenelg Shire as "Prescribed Accommodation Premises" and complies with the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 for your health and safety. The cleaning and laundry of all linen is completed by professionals to ensure the highest standards are met.

Child friendly with high chair, port-a-cot and stroller for use. The backyard has a grassy area for the kids to play on.

Secure off street parking for both vehicles and a boat and trailer is available. Rear access via a lane way provides space for a boat and trailer (boat size up to 7m in length) parking. Got more than one boat? We can arrange to securely store it for you offsite if required.

Cape Nelson is another great place to visit with the Cape Nelson Light House (tours available) beathtaking views and a cafe to enjoying them in.

We loved our stay at Alandra. Beautifully decked out and spotlessly clean. The position is perfect, right in town. Easy walk to shops, restaurants and the harbour. plenty of room and good heating! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Hop on or off at various attractions along the way including the botanic gardens, World War 2 lookout tower, the Powerhouse Museum and Maritime Discovery Centre.

Powerhouse Car Museum:

A museum offering an extensive display of vintage and classic cars, as well as motorbikes and engines.

Timandra is an award-winning sustainable garden which is located 16 kilometres from Portland at Narrawong. This one acre garden features mainly native plants and is beautiful during all seasons of the year. Spot a koala, observe abundant birdlife or pack a picnic to enjoy in the gardens. Guided tours are available.

Go Surf:

For an authentic surfing experience you will never forget, join Go Surf for fun and safe coaching for all ages and skill levels. Learn to surf or try stand up paddle boarding at Port Fairy, Warrnambool or Cape Bridgewater near Portland. Go Surf also hires equipment for beachgoers including surfboards, bodyboards, paddle boards and wet suits.

Portland Golf Club:

A well-maintained 18 hole course with a clubhouse that offers friendly service with splendid views of the sea and coastline.

South Coast Raceway:

Touted as the "best little drag strip in Oz", it is located within Yarraman Park on the southern outskirts of Portland, and it stages regular drag racing events.

Southern 500 Speedway:

Located 10 kilometres north of Portland, the speedway hosts a regular calendar of racing events including caravan racing and demolition derbys.

Seals By Sea Tours:

Take a cruise from Seal Point at Cape Bridgewater (near Portland) which is home to around 1,000 Australian and New Zealand Fur Seals and observe these amazing mammals at play.

Cordrington Wind Farm Tours:

Codrington Wind Farm and Yambuk Wind Farm are located between Port Fairy and Portland. They consist of 34 towers and rotors which stand at 70 metres in height. For an impressive close-up look, take an informative and professionally guided tour of the wind farm, which lasts an hour. Also enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding countryside and beaches.

Upwelling Festival:

October. A free community festival that celebrates the unique features of Portland. It is staged on Portland's foreshore and includes market stalls, entertainment, childrens activities, marine talks and a street parade.
