Kevington cottage on the Goulburn River
Yankee Pat's cottage is located in the high country township of Kevington on ten acre shared property.
The cottage has a private one acre private spot on the property. With well established tree's that give you wonderful shade.
With 360 degree views of the mountains that surround.
Beautiful gardens and view of the Goulburn river from the dining room table and also for the decking area.
The decking area has a outdoor table and chairs with a baby Weber Q to enjoy.
There is a wonderful swimming hole with sallow areas.
Pick a spot on river and unwind.
The property is great all year round.
Winter: Sit and read a book and enjoy the warmth and glow from the wood fire or take a day trip to Mt Buller.
Autumn: Has a wonderful display of colour's from the well established tree's that line the driveway and surround the cottage.
Summer: Relax be the river side and enjoy fishing, swimming and gold panning.
There are many things to do in the area.
There is the Star of the west mine site with a board explaining the area. If you are keen to do some bush walking you will find parts of old building's where the township was.
Jamieson historical walk. This takes you around the town ship of Jamieson, you will visit all the old building that are still standing. They explain what they where used for, who lived there.
There is a drive that goes from Jamieson to Walhalla it has historical markers along the way.
Ten minutes drive to the township of Jamieson.
Five minutes drive to the Kevington Hotel Est 1862.
About the Cottage
This two bedroom cottage is a wonderful little get away.
The cottage is ideal for 2 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children or 4 Adults.
We can accommodate up to 5 guests at a time.
Great for couples, friends and family getaway.
Bedroom one with a Queen bed.
Bedroom two has a set of bunks with a one double bed on the bottom and one single bed on the top.
We supply towels and all bedding requirements.

Great spot
Had a great long weekend in the cabin the kids had plenty of space to ride bikes and run around. My 3yr old court his first fish in the river in front of the cabin. Great location will definitely be back
