Santorini is a lush Mediterranean styled pet friendly villa with a large private garden, conveniently located in a quiet peaceful position, yet only seconds from all that Byron has to offer.PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST ADVISE OWNER THAT YOU HAVE A PET WHEN YOU ENQUIRE/BOOK THIS PROPERTY.

Inside funky colourful decor and furniture, coupled with soaring ceilings and open-plan layout give the villa a welcoming beachhouse feel. There are 2 bedrooms,the master b/r has a queen bed and the second has 2 king singles, 2x queen sofa beds and several other options for sleeping arrangements.

This property also has a 1 BEDROOM APARTMENT ATTACHED, that when opened up becomes a 3 BEDROOM, 3 BATHROOM, 2 KITCHEN ,huge open planned house that can accommodate up to 10 GUESTS.

Santorini is completely self contained with laundry and complete kitchen.

The villa has a large private garden which is completely secure, making it a great place for young children to play.

Overall Santorini offers guests a funky colourful private villa in a fabulous location and is excellent value for money.

PLEASE NOTE: This property is a privately owned holiday house and as such does not supply toiletries,toilet paper etc, but does provide clean linen and bath towels.You are required to leave the property as you found it, clean and tidy.Wood for the fireplace is to be organised by the guest.

Location, location, location

Santorini's location is perfect for all our guests, whether they arrive by car or fly in. The villa is tucked away in a quiet peaceful no through traffic area yet we have everything right on our doorstep, the markets ,the beach ,the shops, restaurants, pubs, nightclubs and cinema. Put the car away and enjoy walking to all that Byron has to offer.

Step out the front door on a Thursday and into the Farmers' Markets where you will experience some of Byron's freshest local organic produce and locally made foods and coffees.

The first and third Sundays of the month is when you will experience first hand the famous Byron Sunday Markets from the same site. You can spend hours strolling through the stalls and you cannot miss the drumming sessions that they hold at the end of the day when the markets are over.

So much to do, so little time

Byron is always alive with things to do .A great place to check whats happening in Byron is at the visitors centre, and by reading our local paper "The Echo". Here is a list of the things that we love to do.

Walk the beach from town to the lighthouse at sunrise or sunset.

Catch a great band at the Railway Hotel, the Beach Hotel, the Great Northern Hotel, the Piggery or one of the many venues and nightclubs in town.

Walk to Clarks Beach along the beachfront and enjoy dining at the Clarks Beach Cafe, located on the beachfront.

Of course the beach is fantastic and the views back across the mountains are breathtaking. The main beach has a swimming pool,a large park and playground that the kids will love and several walking tracks that are great for a vigorous workout.

There are so many fantastic restaurants in Byron and some of our favorites are the Balcony for the tappas, Fishheads for the food and the location, Earth and Sea Pizza for the whole family to enjoy and Raes at Wategos for the truly romantic and indulgent.

Above all Byron is about relaxing and unwinding so take some time out and do nothing. Read a book in the shade of a tree, book a massage, swim in the ocean and watch the dolphins at play.

A relaxing and large house near town!

We stayed here in Oct 2016. Our group was a couple and a toddler (cot and high chair provided), and another adult.

The house was in a perfect location and such a nice place to relax in. We hope to return next year!

The only small suggestion would be more toilet paper be provided for longer stays and some surface spray and cling film for the kitchen (but that's travelling with toddlers :) thanks Lois for being so accomodating with our delayed flight and all of your info. We would love to return!

Fabulous Family Holiday Villa

What a wonderful holiday villa for our extended family! We had 11 individuals from a 2 year old to 82 year old plus our furry friends. Lots of chill out spaces, great outdoor areas and comfy beds. We will be back.

Fantastic extended-family accommodation

We recently had a family holiday at Byron Bay staying at the Santorini Villa. There were 11 of us, from 2 - 82 years of age plus a couple of furry friends. The villa is perfect for family needs and we loved the different 'spaces' where we could chill out. Location was perfect too and we had no idea that the markets are on 1st Sunday of the month so we got to walk there and back a couple of times during that day (2 minute walk). We will book again!

Much room for improvement

We were very disappointed for these reasons: Within the first hour of arrival at the house our dog began sniffing around the sofa bed in the main lounge room. We took the cushions off the lounge & she went crazy. She found what she was looking for & drove out a mouse which ran straight over my foot & into the other lounge area...gross! We moved the sofa & found chunks of material on the floor underneath that had been mouse had eaten through, presumably it had taken up residence inside. Not to mention it was filthy when we opened it up. We also found mouse droppings on the window sill in the kitchen & floor. I called this owner about this & they pretty much laughed it off. I firmly got the impression that vermin control inside the house doesn't exist. We thought about leaving the property at that point & asking for a refund but where to go at the last minute with 4 adults & a dog? Apparently the house is cleaned after every guest? I'd like to actually see them in action. There was dust, dirt & grime that hasn't been looked at in years. The bedsheets in the main room hadn't been changed & there appeared to be grit or sand inside. The ensuite shower recess was grubby with chipped tiles & also had grit or sand on the floor. The toilet in the ensuite is old & tired & looks like it belongs in a cheap backpacker hostel. The curtains & some of the furniture in the smaller bedroom are rubbish. Curtains have holes & stains, the furniture tops are all scratched, the bedside table light did not work. The toilet/shower at the end of the hallway leaves a lot to be desired. The kitchen oven was filthy & inside we found a tray full of crumbs. The stove top was also old & disgusting. The entire house needs a major, professional clean & overhaul. There are so many things going wrong & it's a shame because the property & layout is good & it wouldn't cost a fortune to get it right. Someone needs to spend money on a refurbish. The positives were the house is extremely close & within walking distance to Byron town centre/shops. The owner throughout the process of the booking was very helpful & responsive. Unfortunately our stay here wasn't what we expected & could have been so much better. It was really disappointing.
