Lovely location here in the country on 3 acres, yet close to Santa Rosa, Windsor, and Healdsburg
We loved your place, it was so nice and peaceful, and clean, thanks for letting us know of some
wonderful wineries to visit, we look forward to visit again soon
The room was large, clean and very comfortable with all the amenities a person needs, such as TV, microwave, coffee, and water in the fridge. We loved the beautiful patio to sit and enjoy the view of lovely trees and quietness. The hot tub was just a few steps up and a bar-ba-que was very close for our use. Two wineries were just up the road and they both had great wine. There were many wineries close by and don't miss the cute towns of Windsor and Healdsburg. The best part was meeting the owners and spending time with them. I wish we had stayed a little longer and would recommend this place for anyone.

Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The room was exactly how it is pictured. The room itself was clean and roomy. It was defiantly a plus to have a small kitchen area. Unfortunately, there are a few negatives.
The largest negative was that the room doesn't have air conditioning. While it wouldn't be a problem for those who visit in the cooler seasons, we were here when it was 95 degrees. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep because it was so warm. If the room did have air conditioning, it would have to have been monitored by an upstairs thermostat that we did not have access to. So as far as temperature, we had no control . Maybe I missed this in the description, but pointing this out should be required. Also, the footsteps. I had read in prior reviews that this was irritating to people, I never thought it would bother me as much as it did. You can hear everything from upstairs. Almost every morning I was woken due to people walking around upstairs. Lastly, all the coffee cups and wine glasses were dirty. We arrived in the mid to late evening our first night and hoped to share a glass of wine to kick off our anniversary weekend. Out of about 10ish wine glasses not one of them were clean. All of them had dried wine in the bottom. Almost as if someone drank out of them and put them right back in the cabinet-coffee mugs were the same. Dish soap was abiliable to wash them so it wasn't the end of the world, but it was a bit frustrating. I would like to note that the owners of the home had temporary renters upstairs. They had been housesitting for the owners for the last three months. So, I'm not sure who was responsible for preparing our room and checking to make sure things (like the dishes) were clean.
If you read prior reviews about the privacy concern, I would not worry. We never experienced any issues. It would be nice to have an actual door between the hall to the main house and the bathroom rather than just a curtain. But overall, It wasn't an issue for us.
Would we revisit? During the cooler weather seasons, we would love to revisit. The price is unbeatable and location is wonderful.
The studio is nice and clean and pretty spacious. The property itself is beautiful and the jacuzzi tub was a nice perk although we didn't take advantage of it. The location is quiet and only 15 minutes from downtown. Our one big complaint is the house was not well insulated so we were able to hear all the noise from inside. The owners were away and had renters in the main house. They walked around the house at all hours of the night. It was like they never slept. Their heavy footsteps kept us up all night the entire time we were there. If it weren't for those people we would've enjoyed our stay much more.
We loved this place. It has a lovely elevated deck overlooking trees and shrubs. We spotted a few early morning deer while enjoying coffee on the deck, and relaxed with our wine and cheese in the evening, enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. We also laid out on the lounge chairs on the separate patio area at night time, taking in thousands of stars and the frog music of the night. We even saw one spectacular, memorable shooting star. After a day of wine tastings, we soaked our weary bodies in the hot tub under a sprawling tree. Inside, the studio was very nice with tv, coffee maker, and a comfy bed. Everything was clean and as advertised. The wifi was not connecting on the morning in which we were leaving, but I believe that was problematic in the entire area, as we experienced similar disconnects in other wifi spots. We highly recommend this place.
We came down for a race and wine tasting and this was a great central location. Place was quiet and cozy and Tony and Julie were helpful.
We would book again. The kitchenette was well stocked with coffee, tea and spices to cook with. Location is close to Windsor town green and Healdsburg. There is a private entrance using the stairs to the deck. Overall a very relaxing stay.
Close to Chalk Hill winery which is on 2400 acres and has an amazing tour, then only 12-14 minutes to downtown Healdsburg, or 5-7 minutes to downtown Windsor, great location as we are in the country yet close to many activities and shopping
