Beautiful & serene

  • 5 of 5

This cabin has so much charm!!! I would love to come back in the summer and winter. Be advised, the kitchen has very basic items. If you like to cook elaborate meals, you will have to ask her if she would be able to get you what you need, or bring it from home. We can't wait to go back!

Property is breathtaking! It's so peaceful and beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

Went with my family and absolutely fell in love with the place! My two daughters were kept so busy with the hot tub, toys outside in a shed and their room with the bunk bed. The pictures don't even describe how beautiful the place is. The interior of the log cabin is beautifully kept and decorated. The beds are super comfortable with a chocolate on top of each pillow the first day. Although the sauna unfortunately didn't work we had an enjoyable time in the hot tub. Heather was amazing when it came to what we needed. We will definitely come back again! Thank you Heather for making our first log cabin trip so amazingly wonderful!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your very kind words! It was wonderful to have your family stay with us, you were fantastic guests! I apologize for the trouble with the sauna, we thought it just needed a new circuit but it turns out we need to replace the whole stove. I ordered a new one with express shipping and hope it gets here and is able to be installed before the next guests arrive. Thank you for being so great to work with and so understanding of our mechanical difficulties! We look forward to having you come again! Best wishes!

Really great log cabin

  • 4 of 5

It was really nice. Great hot tub. Right on the river. We are really glad that Heather had gave us the directions ahead of time because GPS wasn't working down there. Only downside was the sauna wasn't working even after resetting the breaker and the heater in the livingroom only blew cold air which made it cold down there. There was a fireplace but hardly any wood. We went into town to get some, but they practically laughed at us. There is no cell service and the Internet is slow so it made it hard to communicate to let her know anything was going on. Once we told her about the Sauna, she said she'd have someone there to fix it, but we didn't need it. We were able to get a message out about the heater. It snowed on our last day there so we're glad it waited to do that for us.

Owner's Response: Stephanie, Thank you for your kind words and for your helpful information! I don't know why the breaker was tripping on the sauna, that has never happened before, but the electrician is scheduled and will fix the breaker and the heater shortly. Thank you for letting me know it wasn't working! There is quite a bit of wood at the cabin but it is in the wood shed in the center of the driveway, maybe you didn't see it? The cell phone coverage is spotty, I have Verizon and it works there but not in certain spots. The rural satellite internet is slower than other types of internet but we have made requests for faster internet. The neighbors have been able to upgrade so we are hoping that it won't be long before we will be eligible as well. There is also a land line at the cabin with unlimited long distance if a cell phone is not working. Thank you again for the kind words and the information, it is very helpful to us as we continually strive to make improvements to the property! :)

Lovely escape from the work-a-day world

  • 5 of 5

Heather arranged the cabin so nicely for us. It was warm and welcoming when we arrived. It's a serene and lovely rustic feeling cabin, but close to town and amenities. We loved out stay, and want to return in the summer for more outdoor adventures. Do yourself a favor, rent it for a couple of days, and forget about cell phones, appointments, meetings, deadlines, and instead soak in the hot tub and watch the lazy stream rolling endlessly by. Lovely setting, lovely property and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
