Family and pet friendly waterfront home in a beautiful environment
Absolute waterfront cottage! People and pets revel in this peaceful, lakeside and beach location, with updated kitchen and bathrooms and fenced yard. Safe for kids to ride their bikes, swing from the trees into the lake, fly a kite and toast marshmallows over the fire. There is also a caravan park across the lake with a jumping pillow and water park for children. For the big people with drinks and nibbles, while watching sunset reflections, fish from the beach, Island and lake, or just sit around an open fire 10 metres from the deck, on the water's edge.
The cottage is a 5-8 minute bush walk next to the lake to 2 beaches and Crampton Island, which can be reached through shallow water or over sand at low tide. Star fish and sea life abound in the rock pools exposed at low tide.
The cottage is open plan with 3 bedrooms in the house and a 4th BR (Extra rent to cover extra cleaning) in the converted garage separate from the house. The property is furnished with lounge and dining furniture, a TV and 1 QS and 4 single beds in the house, 1 QS in the 4th BR, 2 toilets and a separate shower room, a BBQ on the deck and a covered back veranda. The wood heater is romantic and cosy on cool nights with fresh sea breezes cooling the air on summer days.
Attractions include boating, whale watching in August to Oct. canoeing with canoe supplied, swimming, surfing with surf boards supplied, (there is a local surf school) fishing, snorkeling or diving. While bushwalking or cycling to the beaches you can see a variety of birds, including parrots, black cockatoos, pelicans, sea eagles, lorrakeets as well as kangaroos, echidnas, whales and dolphins in season. A favourite pastime of young and old is feeding the ducks and parrots at the front door. Burrill Lake, 5k away, also has a water skiing club. Pets are allowed in the house and, if well behaved, can run free once on the beach.
The Mogo Zoo is a 40 minute drive south through the beach town of Batemans bay and historic Mogo town. Ulladulla and historic Milton are attractive shopping centres 10-15 minutes to the north.

About Jacqueline Jones
We Have owned this house since our 21 year old first grandson was 2 years old. by the time he was 10 we bought another house on the lake which we use as our own holiday house. We have rented the lake front to hundreds of people since then, many coming back every year. We usually upgrade the house every year, the most current being putting on the wifi through the NBN.
Jacqueline Jones purchased this Cottage in 1999
Why Jacqueline Jones chose Lake Tabourie
It is about 5 Metres from the lake and 7 minutes walk to the beaches and the island where you can see little rock ponds full of starfish, sea, anemones, a variety of seaweed, crabs and fish. You can also walk all around the island and see an Aboriginal midden of the end of the track. The Island is a favourite place for rock fishing and watching dolphins and the occasional whales.
What makes this Cottage unique
Surfing at Tabourie beach, diving around the islands and reefs, fishing, crabbing and diving for crayfish off the island. Stand up paddling and kayaking in the lake and ocean, watching or participating in para-gliding. Quiet peaceful walks in the Maroo national parks surrounding the lake and the beaches, or strenuous hikes up the local mountains. Dog friendly beaches.. Excellent shopping in Ulladulla and Batemans Bay.

Can't wait to go back!
We spent almost 2 weeks at the cottage and found it very hard to leave. The cottage was a stone’s throw from the lake’s edge and very clean and comfortable. The deck was perfect for kicking back and gazing at the lake with a book or cold drink. We walked 10 minutes to the beach every day and spent our afternoons relaxing in the cottage, reading, fishing, kayaking and BBQing. The kids (11yo) roamed free and cycled, kayaked, body boarded, fished and jumped off trees into the lake. The dog was in heaven and we found the beach was very dog-friendly at all times of the day. The property is well-fenced so the dog was safe and happy if we went out without her. No air-conditioning was not a problem as there was a lovely breeze that kept the house cool and pedestal fans in most rooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Owners were very friendly and helpful. The area is very quiet and safe and has a lovely community feel. Can’t wait to go back!
What a lovely family, we were delighted to meet you and pleased you enjoyed Lake Tabourie. It is very special to us and we are very happy your children and dog also had a nice holiday.
Great property , great location.
We had a great few days on the lake , and the place had nice friendly neighbors, Fishing was good lots of black fish great fun
Beautiful venue for a weekend away.
A lovely, comfortable cottage with a beautiful, lake front view. The cottage has everything you need and was perfect for our trip.
We stayed there for two night and the location is great. The owner Jackie is a great person and she was really helpful in every stage. Kitchen was full equipped and all facilities were there. The only negative thing we can say is, the beds were not clean enough as we found few hairs in pillows and in bed!
We believe, if they change the furnitures a bit, they can attract more customers.
Best wishes for Jackie.
Hi Monir Thanks for your response, we always seek ways to improve.Hope you enjoyed the Kayaking Regards Jacqui
We had a fabulous time here .House was just right and woodfire was very effective.Canooing walking all very relaxing in a truly beautiful spot .Hope to come again .
Hi Helen We envy you as we were in Europe for the past 2 months in an average temperature of 40c with millions of other tourists, we wished were in Australia with sandy beaches rather than Mediterranean pebbles and huge rocks to try to walk through. However the once in a lifetime visit to the Acropolis and Colosseum were unbelievably inspiring! Regards Jacqui
Great spot right on the water
Simple cottage great location. Loved it. Put the crab traps out the front door and caught 2 muddies and 3 bream ( all legal) in 6 days. Too easy. Walk to the beaches 2 to choose from or do some rock fishing. The dogs loved it too. Will come again.
We must try crabbing next time we go down there! Regards Jacqui
On the lakeside surrounded by National Parks and surf beaches. Ten KM from Ulladulla shopping centre and 40 from Batemans bay.
