More about Jay:
Jay Peak has the best skiing and most snowfall in the east. Jay's 18 hole championship golf course is the finest course in all of Vermont. Jay's new spa and resort offers Kids Mountain Adventure Center, ice skating, restaurant and pub, and an amazing indoor water park. The area also offers mountain biking, hiking, dog sledding, fishing, swimming, and many other outdoor activities.
My family has owned this home since it was built about 20 years ago. The Jay Peak resort has evolved from a hidden gem skiers paradise to a year-round world class resort with something for everyone. I come up to the house in every season, golfing in the spring and summer, enjoying the peak foliage and hitting the amazing breweries and the fall and of course skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. There is no place I would rather be to spend time with family and friends.
We have only been renting the house for a short time but since we opened our doors to others, we have maintained a handful of steady return guests. I hope to add more good people to our list of annual visitors. There is a great deal of satisfaction when I talk to our guests and they share their experiences. If you choose to stay at our house, I truly hope you enjoy your stay. If you have any questions about the house or the area, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I was very impressed with this place. Booking through Chris was painless and quick. The house is great, the beds are comfortable and there is even a pool table in the basement.
Items of note:
The driveway is steep, so if you are expecting snow, make sure you have AWD/4X4 vehicles.
There is no wifi and cell signal is limited. For me this isn't a complaint, as i don't mind "unplugging" here and there, but just a warning to make sure that you plan your trip accordingly. There is a landline you can use to make local calls, and Jay Peak has free wifi in many areas. So if you need the internet for work, posting your epic pics and videos of you and your family or friends enjoying the bottomless powder that jay peak has to offer, plan on accessing it from the mountain.
We love staying at the Jay Peak house. This was the second year we stayed here. The owner is very easy to work with. His house is very roomy and extremely clean. We loved the semi finished off basement with pool table and plenty of heat.We used the old fashioned record player and card table. It has a great family party atmosphere. The wood stove works great with lots of split wood. The kitchen is full size, very functional, however next year we will eat at the tavern down the street because it is within walking distance and is very inviting. There is also another bar that is a a very short drive.Jay Peak is an easy sort drive, its a strait shot to the mountain. We are looking forward to staying a third time next year.
Really nice house. Great communication from the owner, and he was very responsive to our needs. House is larger than it appears in the photos.
Clean and neat, bedrooms are a great size. Everyone had a wonderful time. We will definitely consider going back again!
Everyone enjoyed the skiing and the Pump House at Jay Peak.
House was great, lot of for seven people with no problem, with two baths, house was clean,
And the house has that filling of a home not a hotel,
Wood burning stove was great after a day skiing to sit by and take the winter chill off.
Lots with great restaurants close by.
And the pool table down stairs was great.
Nice house, just as described. Larger than the photos appear. Neat and clean.
Communication with owner was excellent!
Would definitely stay here again.
Very clean, warm, comfortable house with all the necessary amenities. Nice location, and plenty of games in the basement to keep busy at night. Comfortable beds, plenty of blankets, large selection of movies. Beautiful walks at night on the quiet country road. We would definitely return in the future.

Golf: Jay Peak Championship Golf Course. Built by renowned golf architect Graham Cooke & Associates, the Jay Peak Championship Golf Course was designed not just to follow the terrain; it flows through it. Fairways climb and descend along and across fall lines. Greens and tee boxes sit atop hills and tuck into valleys. Each hole features 5 sets of tees allowing for all levels of play by adjusting the angle and length of the course from 5,000 yards to nearly 7,000 yards. This is the result of a world-class vision and the incomparable Jay landscape.
Ski: If you've been to Jay Peak, you know what pulls you. The most snow in eastern North America and the most liberal in-bounds policy anywhere.
If you haven't been here, though - well, read on.
Located in Northern Vermont only a few miles from the Canadian border, Jay Peak has a different perspective on the sport. Up here, the mountain reigns supreme and our unparalleled gladed terrain and abutting backcountry attracts some of the best skiers and riders around. We make big-mountain skiing and riding affordable for all through a number of discount and value-added programs.
