A brand new architect designed house with all mod cons, offering gorgeous views and complete privacy.

The adjacent bush is full of wildlife, particularly birds which flock to Bohemia to drink from the handmade birdbaths around the property. Frequent visitors include koalas, wallabies, kookaburra's, and echidnas. The position offers privacy with style. It is difficult to believe you are only 15/20 minutes walk to the main street.

The kitchen offers the latest Smeg appliances, walk in pantry with fridge, and a wonderful island bench where you can enjoy breakfast, or an evening drink and enjoy fabulous views of the bush.

There are two outdoor dining areas on the terrace to use depending on the time of day and the weather.

We also offer a range of complimentary teas, coffee, milk and biscuits.

Curl up on the big comfy couches by the wood fire and gaze out at the gorgeous views, or enjoy some TV, music or a snooze. Reverse cycle air conditioning/heating in the living areas, and Nobo panel heaters in the bedrooms ensures your comfort all year round.

Free Wifi is available.

Both bedrooms are stylish with original artwork, queen sized beds, crisp linen. Each bedroom has panel heater and electric blankets to keep you snug in the cooler weather. For summer there is openable windows to allow the cool highland air to flow through and also overhead ceiling fans.

They also offer a study desk if work has to be done.

And a winter warmer pack with spare blanket.

Each bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom with walk in rain shower, overhead heat lamps, hairdryer, and a basket of amenities.

We hope you choose to stay at Bohemia. It is a unique property in a unique setting in fabulous Daylesford. We fell in love with it, and we hope you do, too.

Thank You Stuart/Laurie, we had the best time again at Bohemia, we enjoyed everything and the open fire was fantastic on the chilly nights. Our 2 dogs had an absolute ball.

Cheers Guy & Jennie

Great getaway

  • 4 of 5

Loved this little house. I usually book a place in the centre of town, but this was the only place available to me at a reasonable price this time. So glad I did it. Open fire, great kitchen and plenty of crockery and utensils. Comfortable bed and pillows. Didn't have to leave the house for anything (except a massage of course). The only thing I didn't personally like was the shower over the bath. A bit to confined a space, but this would not stop me booking again. In fact, we hope to be back within the next few weeks. Beautiful location to watch the lunar eclipse - very lucky indeed.

An older house with gorgeous surroundings

  • 4 of 5

This house is very cozy and homely. It’s definitely not the newest or most up-to-date place to stay, but we really enjoyed it. The bathroom is a little dated but as I said, some parts of the house would be original from a very very long time ago. The TV is not a smart TV, and the range of DVDs is very limited. But the location, which is a solid 20 minute walk into town with some hills, makes up for it. Something you should be aware of though, I booked the house for two people being my mate and I, and when we showed up they only made up one bedroom and there was a sign saying that it would be $80 extra per night for the second bedroom, assuming that we were a couple. When I rang to ask about the extra fee, the owner said to just pay an extra $40 for both nights and I had to make up the second bed myself. No big deal, but the website does say it is a two bedroom house and that no extra booking fee is required to actually use both of those bedrooms. The owner was super reasonable and kind about it though. If you get chilly in the cold, they do have a heater and a fireplace with electric blankets in the bedrooms, but I would recommend bringing lots of very warm and comfy clothes. Also bring your own shampoo, conditioner, etc as none is provided.

Beautiful, peaceful place that stayed warm despite the chilly weather!

We had a great stay at Bohemia Bush Views. It would be good if the oven had instructions as we couldn't get it working, but otherwise everything was excellent!

As advertised, a cosy bohemian stay nestled in bush but close to town.

  • 5 of 5

We only had one night so we didn’t get to explore all this quirky place had to offer, but thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It was a balmy six degrees and rainy, so we snuggled around the fire that had thoughtfully been lit before our arrival. The place was delightfully cosy, despite all the windows that allow views across the treetops. There’s panel heaters in he bedrooms and electric blankets too (though we didn’t need the latter). The kitchen is well supplied with a good stove, microwave and coffee machine. There’s plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

Had we stayed more than one night we would definitely have walked into town via the lake. About 15 minutes I’d reckon and scenic to boot. Plenty to do and see in the area. The local Cellarbrations has an excellent range of wine and craft beers. There’s some nice pubs, like the Farmer’s Arms and a fromagerie which had an excellent cheesecake on the day we visited. We got delicious and nutritious take-home meals from Dele, which is nestled away in an industrial area in East St.

This is not a sleek, modern luxury type place. It’s a warm, inviting, clean, comfortable and friendly place. Would recommend it to friends.
