Infinity Villa consists of 2 villas; here we are advertising Villa Bamboo. See also HomeAway Listing 375710.
The property is located in one of the most beautiful parts of one of the most beautiful islands in the world. It is surrounded by terraced rice fields, offering stunning views in all directions, including volcanoes (extinct), a mountain range, patches of jungle and the ocean with neighboring islands in the distance. The location is a unique combination of private seclusion and easy access to all the restaurants, shopping and services of Bali's No. 2 tourist destination of Ubud, a mere 6 kms away.
The villa is in the middle of a sea of rice fields, on a gradual upslope to Mount Batur, a double caldera volcano that offers one of the most breathtaking views on the planet. Mount Agung, the most revered peak in Bali, looms to the northeast. The Central Mountains to the west provide often spectacular scenes, as the clouds shroud them or the sun sets behind them. Endless beauty awaits you !
You will have the opportunity to watch the surrounding rice fields being worked, with each time of year offering something special, from the reflecting ponds just prior to planting, to the gentle swaying of the yellowing rice before harvest. Our garden has many exotic plants and flowers, some of which you can pick for cut flower arrangements in the house. Butterflies will entertain you during the day and fireflies will enchant you at night. You may never want to leave the confines of our little paradise
Close By: There are at least a dozen major tourist attractions within an hour's drive. Some of the most photographed of Bali's rice fields are only 3 km away, and Ubud offers a wide array of cultural and artistic attractions, including more art galleries and shops per square kilometer than New York or London. The ocean is about 25km away, while the tourist meccas of Kuta and Seminyak are about 35km from Ubud. The airport for Bali is 40km from Ubud, but a taxi will cost you only about the equivalent of $25 US, depending on your bargaining skills. We can help arrange your airport transfers, local transport or vehicle rental needs.
Whether you are coming to Ubud for one of its well known events, such as Bali Spirit Festival or the Readers and Writers Festival, to hone your yoga or meditation skills, or just to relax and enjoy the magical atmosphere, staying at Villa Bamboo will only enhance your experience. We guarantee a wonderful time here !!

My son and I have lived in Bali for 7 years now, and I run our rental villas with lots of attention to detail and passion. I was a lawyer in Canada until 'retiring' about 8 years ago.
My staff and I will do our very best to ensure that you have a wonderful stay with us. Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.

We live on the same property as our rental villas. We decided to live here because it is truly one of the most beautiful parts of the whole island. We love the views in all directions and never tire of looking around us and feeling totally contented.
It is simply fantastic here !!
You will enjoy the stunning natural beauty in a serene and private setting, while still having very easy reach of all the restaurants, shops, galleries, museum and other attractions of Ubud. Experience real Bali life as it unfolds in the sea of rice fields surrounding the property.
I spent the second week of my honeymoon here and it was amazing! The view from the living room looking out to the outdoor pool which then overlooks the rice fields was breathtaking.
Thanks to Max we did so much as he was so helpful arranging our excursions. We went to monkey forest, did an eco bike tour which was so kool, elephant safari, white water rafting(amazing!) and most of all we went canyoneering which we jumped from waterfalls and got to bath in a hot water spring. Oh my! I'm smiling just thinking back on it. Oh yes we went to a cooking class which is also a must, we had so much fun.
My husband and I were spoiled and had in house massages from Koko which were so relaxing as well as listening to the therapeutic music playing.
Regular cleaning and woke up to breakfast being delivered.
This Villa is close to shops if taking a car or the scooter. We went to a Thai restaurant nearby that was fantastic. You can even order food to be delivered from various retaurants which we did, so good.
The villa is perfect for a romantic break, family and even if you want a quiet spot to just chill. So much value than a hotel I'm telling you, we had so much access and were spoiled rotten for an amazing price!
Thank you so much Max we definitely want to come back. You were a great help to us and made our honeymoon super! Xxxxx
We stayed in Villa Lotus and had a very pleasant time. The villa is clean and has everything you need. The views from the villa are really spectacular.
The owner Max is very pro-active and help full. If we travel a next time to Bali we stay here again!
We recently stayed for a week at Infinity Villa's Villa Bamboo. Upon getting used to the different way of living in Bali than we are used to, Villa Bamboo became like a second home to us.
Let me first say that Max, the villas' owner, was an extraordinary resource. Having been from New York City and never to Bali, we weren't familiar with what to expect in the country. Max was fast and extensive in his responses and and in his assistance in setting up activities for us during our stay (we were in town primarily for a friend's wedding). We had a lot of questions, and Max would reply back to each of them usually within a day, and he helped us feel more secure about our stay.
Villa Bamboo (which seems to be the mirror image of its adjacent villa) is gorgeous. When we arrived, our airport driver who works on staff introduced us to the villa and gave us an overview of the place. The villa has two floors. The downstairs is an open living room and kitchen with sliding doors that open out into an infinity pool overlooking a quiet rice field, where you might see a worker or two in the morning, or some herons or colorful birds. There is also a private bathroom and shower. Upstairs is a grand bedroom with sliding doors, great air conditioning and a ceiling fan, and a bathroom. This bathroom is more truly "outdoors" than the downstairs one, which was unusual to us but also quite novel and fun. I miss it already!
Bali is a buggy place, and friendly critters cohabit with you everywhere. Since you are in the middle of a rice field, you'll see the occasional lizard or frog in the villa, taking care of bugs that might fly through. But don't let that daunt you -- it's fairly standard for Bali. The mosquito netting at night added protection but probably wasn't needed in bed: We slept soundly and comfortably as "city folk."
It's about a 15-20 minute car to Ubud Main Road. Max provides a local mobile phone should you need a ride or to call for help. We learned that getting back from Ubud Main Road (about 80,000 - 100,000 Rupiah, or < US$7.50) was easiest when we asked the taxi drivers if they knew where Tegallalang Market (tuh GALL uh long) was. If so, they just hang a left there, then another left at the Children's Crossing sign about a 100 meters from there, then it's about 1.5km to Infinity Villa.
Breakfast was delicious! Wifi was solid. Bali Buda delivers great food (don't order a smoothie - it'll be warm when it arrives!). We recommend Infinity Vila!
The setting of this Villa is amazing, its exceptional! Max is a super host and our stay went very smoothly. He was a great support to us since we were traveling with our young baby. He provided us with a baby cot in the Villa, and arranged for a babysitter every now and then. The staff are very friendly, service-oriented and respect your privacy. You have lots of space in the villa, as well as outside for incredible (very local) walks. Good eye for detail providing nice soaps, shampoos, local phone, mozzie net above bed, and Balinese art. Divine pool and options to hang out on the pool deck or upstairs on the balcony overlooking rice paddies. The in-house massages are highly recommendable and if you feel like staying in for lunch or dinner you can deliver food or ask the staff to cook a meal for a good price. Rent a scooter or driver, you can easily get around from this Villa but just make note that distances can take time in&around Bali.
We just spent a delightful week at Infinity Villas. The hospitality of Max and his team could not have been any better. We spent our first four night in Seminyak and Max arranged for Nyoman, his driver, to pick us up there and drive us to Ubud. At Nyoman's suggestion we made a stop at the market along the way to pick up a few provisions. We arrived to a sparkling clean and very comfortable villa, in the middle of a beautiful rice field. We loved sitting on the upstairs balcony in the evening and listening to the sounds of the country...crickets, geckos and lizards along with the murmured chanting of the Hindu faithful from a nearby temple. Max could not have been more accommodating in helping us arrange our time in Ubud and Nyoman was always available to drive us anywhere.
A prepared to order breakfast was delivered each morning at the time of our choosing, eggs, French toast, fresh fruit and banana bread! Delicious way to start the day.
And then there were the in villa massages!! The delightful and charming Koko would arrive in the afternoon and provided the best massage ever!! If only we had discovered her sooner we would have had her back everyday. We threatened to pack her in our suitcase and bring her home with us.
We departed feeling delightfully spoiled!
We stayed at the Infinity Villa for 4 nights during our 2 week honeymoon in Bali. The villa is beautiful and provides so much space to relax together and enjoy the beautiful views. While it's a little further from Ubud compared to other places we researched, it was worth it to have a beautiful, quiet get-away. The villa has a driver on-site to drive you into Ubud for a reasonable cost (and they provide a cell phone so you can get in touch with the driver easily). The villa has everything you could need to relax and enjoy Bali together. It gives for the traditional "open air living" that you think of in Bali and a great breeze which was an added bonus in the humid March heat. And if that isn't convincing enough, the best part is the owner, Max. Max helped us from the day we decided to book. He booked our transportation to Gili Meno and back to the Villa, he booked a bike tour, cooking class, massages in the villa and an elephant ride for us so all we ever had to do was walk outside and get in the car that came to pick us up for each excursion. He was very friendly and extremely helpful and made our stay in the Infinity Villa seamless and relaxing. We want to go back to Bali soon, and we will definitely be staying at the Infinity Villa when we return.
Villa Lotus is located 6 km north of Ubud, completely surrounded by beautiful terraced rice fields. The setting is private and pristine, yet it takes only 10 minutes by car or scooter to reach Ubud. The town of Ubud is the cultural and artistic center of Bali, and offers a multitude of art galleries, dance performances, handicraft shops, restaurants, spas and museums. Villa Lotus is an ideal starting point for taking in all of the attractions in Ubud and area, while being able to escape the traffic and noise of Ubud itself.
Other Activities: yoga studio, art classes, dance classes
