Why Steve and Moe Briley chose Utah

The Moab Pearl filled us instantly with a sense of peace and relaxation even when we found it a mess . . .we felt were always meant to be here, to take care of it, and an obligation to share that experience with others. You won't want to leave and you will plan your next trip back while your there!

What makes this house unique

Mountain biking, trail running. slick rock hiking, river rafting, photography.

Awesome gem!

Delightful and comfortable stay in an ideal location. The house was warm and inviting, we had great use of the hot tub every night, with gorgeous views of the mountains, stars, and moon. Simply divine! Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Moab.

Do not miss hidden valley hike--u can walk from the house and it is a delightful surprise!

An absolutely perfect getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights at Moab Pearl with some friends from Canada who had never been to Moab. This house was perfect for us in every way! The huge windows throughout the house brought the beauty of the rocks and gardens into the house. The kitchen was convenient and very well appointed for us, and we are "foodies" and tend to be quite discerning about these things.

The beds were very comfortable after a long day of ATVing. The yard and gardens demanded our attention, though we didn't even get to build a fire in the time! The outdoor hot tub was exactly the plus we were looking for. Loved it!

Our dogs were welcome, which made us feel welcome as a "family". We fell in love with Moab Pearl, and will definitely return!

Owner's Response: Thanks, Brenda! We hope you will be back. My daughter figured out the "mood lighting" in the hot tub so you'll have that to look forward to! Moe

Moab Pearl is a real jewel

  • 4 of 5

We spent 7 nights at the Moab Pearl in late September. The house is a gem: beautiful and interesting architecture (read the story of straw bale houses), lots of windows with nice views, 3 different outdoor spaces to use, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage space, interesting "artsy" touches everywhere, birds and rabbits in the beautifully landscaped yard, gorgeous view of the night sky. The mattress in the master bedroom was the best for my back I have ever tried (what is the brand??).

We only have a few suggestions for improvement.

- Some of the rugs really need to be cleaned,

- A number of light bulbs were burned out,

- The area around the house is a mish-mash, not nearly as attractive as the Pearl. Landscaping to block the buildings and bright lights would help.

Best vacation home you could ask for!!!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time staying at the Pearl! We love it so much it won't be our last. So comfortable, clean, modern and eco friendly! The strawbale construction keeps it super cool. The hot tub is spacious and powerful for restoring sore hiking muscles! The kitchen is great for cooking large or small gourmet meals. The wifi is fast and cable was great.

Highly recommend giving this place a shot for your Moab vacation.

Comfortable home in a beautiful setting- great for families!

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED our stay at the Moab Pearl! The house is simple but very cool and indoor-outdoor spaces flow nicely. The loaded kitchen and jacuzzi were definitely a plus. As August guests, we happy to find that our location falls into the shade of the canyon in the afternoon. My son loved sleeping in the loft! Very convenient to Moab and Arches and so many other wonderful sites in the area. Would definitely recommend for families or groups!

Owner's Response: Thanks, Ana, The loft is definitely popular with the youngsters. I'm glad you're able to enjoy the hot tub in August. We like watching the sun go down from that spot. We hope you'll be back! Best, Steve & Moe

As Unique As The Arches Themselves!!!

  • 5 of 5

Steve & Moe certainly have a Pearl here!!! They are excellent hosts and respond quickly to any questions and are wonderfully nice people! The Moab Pearl is in an excellent location for visits to Arches and Canyonlands Nat'l Parks, not to mention the countless trails of the Bureau of Land Management. Downtown Moab is minutes away with plenty of superb restaurants & grocery stores, shops, etc. The house was spotless, comfortable, and simply a unique experience as it is an environmentally conscious structure. Don't miss the books that Steve & Moe have in the house regarding Straw Bale homes! The bedrooms were nice, and the kitchen was awesome! Landscaping is beautiful! I really can't say enough other than book this lovely home and enjoy!!! We hope to be back again!!! Thanks so much Steve & Moe for letting us stay in your wonderful Pearl of Moab!!!
