excellent place to stay while enjoying Arches and Canyonlands
I stayed at the Moab Pearl with three of my college age kids when they were on spring break. The house was great - - exactly as promised. We really enjoyed cooking dinner and relaxing in the hot tub after long days of hiking. The house was bigger than it looked in the pictures, and even nicer! We enjoyed the patios, even though we were wrapped in blankets! My only suggestion would be to get a reading lamp...my over-50 eyes struggled to read a book in the eco-friendly light. Thanks very much for sharing your house with us...I highly recommend it!
Thanks! My eyes are iffy something, too. That’s a great idea and I’m on it!
Cozy and quiet
The Pearl was the perfect place for us for our four days in Moab. The house was lovely and the setting beautiful. We enjoyed being out of town while not too far away. We hope to stay there again on our next trip to Moab!
I really can't say enough about this house
My family and I have stayed at the Moab Pearl many times. The house and the property are beautiful. The main room, which includes the living area, dining area, and kitchen, is large, nicely decorated, and comfortable enough that I would be happy spending the entire day inside. However, unless the weather is terrible, the patio overlooking the La Sal mountains is where I want to be.
There are a million small things the owners have done that make the Pearl a comfortable home away from home. The beds are comfortable and the towels are soft. There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Even the hand soap is nice. The kitchen is a pleasant place to cook and has always had the things we needed for our meals. They have a new hot tub and it's awesome. There's a fire ring with couches around it. There are board games, maps, and books.
I should note that the owners recently built a smaller rental unit on the property, across the driveway from the Pearl. I was worried that guests there would make our house feel less private, but because of the smaller unit's strategic placement behind mature trees, we really couldn't even see them.
We have been coming to the Pearl for 6 years and the owners have just made it better and better. I would recommend this house to anyone!
Great Basecamp for Moab Hiking Adventures!
My wife & I stayed at the Pearl for 2 weeks of day-hiking adventures around Moab (Arches, Canyonlands, BLM, etc. - all fabulous, but the Needles District of Canyonlands was our favorite). We were extremely pleased with the Pearl. Very clean & well stocked with necessities. After a long day of hiking, the wonderful, well-maintained hot tub felt great! Had everything we needed to prepare dinner each evening (had no reason - or energy - to eat out). Great views - from inside or out the patios - both across the valley to the LaSal Mountains and up behind the house to the redrock cliffs. Nice fire pit on the patio (we bought wood at the Village Market). Some reviewers commented on the neighborhood being a "mish-mash". While this is true - it in no way detracted from our experience. The neighborhood was quiet, and the property is nicely landscaped with indigenous plants & trees (lots of birds, rabbits, etc.). The owners were easy to work with & very responsive to our e-mails when we had a question. We definitely recommend the Pearl!
The Pearl is a true gem in Moab
great location for multifaceted vacation options. Fun hot tub, spacious living space and comfort, for relaxing and recuperating.
We love the Pearl and return every year.
Great property and we love it. It is not brand new or perfect in every way, but just plain wonderful. When we leave we dream of returning. The view is stunning and it never gets old. The house is charming and the hot tub is amazing after a day of adventure in the desert. I almost hate to give such a great review of the Pearl for fear of everyone else beating us to it for our next trip there, but the owners are great and I wish them continued success in booking the property. FYI - The guest house on the property is also very nice, but we have never actually stayed in it. I highly recommend the Pearl for your Moab adventures. We have stayed four times and plan to return as soon as possible.
