About Hannah

How Gallatin River Hideaway came to be......

The dream of Gallatin River Hideaway began in 2004 when Hannah and Horus Brailsford had a vision of a beautiful, peaceful wedding venue on their property on the Gallatin River in Bozeman, Montana.

They have made the Gallatin River Hideaway a true destination by creating two unique and spectacular venues that give guests up to three days on the property to rehearse, set up and celebrate their special day! Hannah and Horus have taken the Montana wedding experience to a new level by building 8 Montana style cabins (three of which are treehouses!) for bridal parties and guests to stay and play. Having time to relax and enjoy friends and family helps eliminate the stress that goes along with the preparation of a wedding.

Hannah and Horus are pros in the wedding business as they also own our sister property, Bodega Bay Secret Gardens Venue in Bodega Bay, California.

A few words from the Brailsfords.....

"Our future plans are to build more tree houses and cabins, and walking trails throughout the property.

We find that we are totally fulfilled seeing our guests on the property, enjoying the facility and each other, and making their own unique Montana memories.

We love seeing our clients' dream wedding or event become the most memorable and beautiful time of their lives."

Property Managers Toby and Cyndy Wadley are on site, and along with employees Samantha & Chase, work hard to carry out Hannah and Horus's vision and ensure that Gallatin River Hideaway is everything our clients and guests have come to expect.

Excellent!

  • 5 of 5

Loved the cabin and will go there again. Close to MSU/downtown Bozeman. Even though it was cold at night, we left the window open just to hear the creek. Hannah was excellent to work with and very quick to respond.

WOW! The BEST PLACE to stay in Montana!!

  • 5 of 5

This was the best experience we could have ever dreamed of! We loved the cabin! Slept with windows open every night to the creek. The property managers, Cindy and Toby are so helpful and Hannah is wonderful! Cindy suggested where to go in Yellowstone and it turned out great! The cabin is so peaceful! We fished the creek in the back of the house as well as the Gallatin which was about a 10 minute walk. The location is perfect - close to 4 corners to get to Yellowstone and all the major fishing rivers. We loved the cabin decor! The grounds are BEAUTIFUL - very secluded! Will stay here next year when we come back. There were 3 of us in this cabin - myself and two teens and it was just perfect size for us.

Wonderful place to stay. Grandkids had a ball by creek. Very peaceful and remote for being fairly close to Bozeman. Cabin was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Unfortunatly we could only stay one night. Next time will be sure to stay longer.Hannah was very helpful and very pleasant. Would recommend very highly! Romantic get away or family retreat. Thanks Hannah

Little Slice of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

Wow! A fabulous week in the "Wildlife Sanctuary" cabin. The perfect location and setting for a perfect vacation. The Wildlife Cabin was tastefully decorated, clean, and had everything you needed. The beautiful grounds were a wonderful surprise. We were there during the week and practically had the place to ourselves. Saw deer each morning, had fantastic walks on the grounds, and finished each day with a game of horseshoes. Loved sleeping with the windows open to hear the creek beside our window. Restful, peaceful, and fun. The owners were friendly and great to work with. Convenient to local attractions, restaurants, and travel. We left wanting to take our "Little Slice of Heaven" home with us. Gorgeous retreat for a vacation or wedding. We will definitely be back, and not soon enough. Memories of this trip will be stay with us always. Loved, loved, loved. Dell & George

Amazing Place to Stay!

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to have the opportunity to stay at! The cabin is literally situated right on the creek... my friend caught trout right off the deck. Moreover, when the windows are open, you can hear the babbling water from the creek, it is so relaxing! It is a very warm and inviting place to stay, it will be difficult to leave. It was very clean and decorated nicely. There's a small kitchen and a cute loft for the kids to sleep in (or great for storage if you have gear). There is a BBQ grill and swing on the deck which make those nice summer evenings a real treat. Plus, one of Montana's best kept secrets are the amazing sunsets... and they are right off the deck for your viewing pleasure!

I was not here for a wedding, however, the facilities were very nice. The layout of the property makes it feel secluded even though you aren't far from town which is convenient and gives you the best of both worlds. A unique place that I would recommend to anyone visiting this area.

We loved this cabin!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in the Western Cabin and were very impressed with the beautiful details in the decor. It was very clean and comfortable! Our favorite memory is listening to the sound of the creek at night - so peaceful! It was great access to fishing and the kids loved playing near the water. We highly recommend it!
