Charming modern concrete home nestled into the palms with tile floors, granite counters, and deep mahogany woodwork. Master, living, and modern kitchen open to the Carribean with large sliding doors to the large deck, plus screened porch for night time enjoyment. 2nd bedroom view is beautiful coconut palms. Loft sleeping room is open to the roof deck and its sweeping views of the ocean and jungle. Two in-home bathrooms are stylish w/ over sized showers. There is a beach bathroom and outdoor shower also.
Casa Blanca Caribe was designed as a stilt home to provide amazing views and cooling breezes year round. It is a new home with a clean uncluttered feeling. The lot is deep and full of huge coconut palms, so there is no noise from the beach road, only the sounds of the surf, breeze, and birds on Sapphire Beach. The sea in front of the home is a gradual drop to the reef system. Free of turtle grass, the sandy bottom and waves are perfect for playing in the water
The property has a beautiful beach with only a few beach combers passing by each day.. You'll have the beachfront and the reef nearly to yourself. Casa Blanca Caribe is located on Sapphire Beach - arguably one of the most beautiful beaches on the Costa Maya with wide sandy beaches. Walk for miles or visit the tidal pools and discover all the shells.
Tired of diving, snorkeling, or fishing? Within an easy and safe couple of hours of driving, visit numerous Mayan archeological sites scattered throughout the countryside, the famous Bacalar Lagoon, Cenote Azul, and Spanish fort. Drive to the Belize border, or visit the museums in Chetumal, or hire a small boat to take you on sea cruise thru the reefs from Xcalak to Chetumal Bay’s Bird Island. Drive north to take a guided tour into the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, or visit the bustling area of Tulum. Or just drive 20 minutes into our quaint town of Mahahual for relaxing fun and food.
The house was better than anticipated and perfect for our family. The owners were good about checking in with us before our trip to make sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions we had. Also, the rental manager, who operates the Mayan Beach Garden Hotel just down the road, was extremely helpful and gave good suggestions for fun activities and sights to see.
The house is on a lovely beach in a quiet area with snorkeling and fishing close by. We enjoyed a delicious Christmas eve dinner at the Mayan Beach Garden Hotel as well as paddle boarding there.
I would recommend this property to friend and relatives.
The house was great, very comfortable, with a beautiful ocean view and spectacular night sky to watch at the top roof.
Powder sand and lots of fun with the kayaks. in 10 days, we probably saw only 4 or 5 people walking by.
Marcia was, very helpful and her food was great. In town, you can find supplies and delicious local and some intenacional restaurants.
R & J, answer the mails right away.
Very good experience. We hope to return soon.
Great place to spend your holiday. The only complaint I have is the one week we were there is not enough. The house is great but the beach is even better. We went snorkeling and kayaking right out the front door. Long walks on the beach in the morning and evening were almost always by yourself. I think the most people we saw in a day on the beach was 6 and that was only once. I wish I could describe what it is like to sit under the cabana sipping your drink as the wave come in and the only sound is the waves and the birds. The roof top patio is a great place to sit and look at a sky full of stars. Marcia was very helpful and even organized massage in the breezeway of the house. Highly recommended. We found that the town of Mahahual had all the basics you needed and the food was fresher than in the bigger stores. The people were great even though our Spanish is very limited. The owners Rick and Jeri were always quick to answer questions and help. Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us.
My wife and I had a wonderful time, the house was as described, very nice to see both sunrises and sunsets. Rick and Jerri, were very quick to respond to any questions. The snorleling was very good 15 min walk to the right facing ocean, one coral head after another, with all the coloured fish you could dream up. Bring food and booze from either Playa del carmen or chetumal. You can get things in Mahahual, but will pay more and have to make several different stops.
We had no electrical or any other problems due to being off the grid. We were able to walk the beach for a long way north or south.
Very good overall choice, but it is remote, however mahahual is about 40 Kilometeres away and on cruise ship days is crazy, otherwise nice and quiet. Interesting to people watch when the ships are in.
Just returned from our family vacation in Casa Blanca. The house was amazing everything about the home was perfect, it's the perfect Eco beach home, the elevation ensures the ocean breezes keep the house comfortable all the time. The beach and sea were amazing. Our young daughter enjoyed the beach and kayaking. The owners did everything to make our stay perfect from recommendations for dinner to the details of the best rock pools to explore. I would highly recommend the home to anyone and we can't wait to go back.
We loved staying here! Everything you would need for a great stay was provided: a beautiful beach, tranquility, comfy beds, coconuts, and most important, no alarm clock! The ocean breeze swept through the house keeping temps perfect and the view from the rooftop deck made it hard to leave. The house felt very safe and the few neighbors in the area were friendly and helpful. We'd go back in a heartbeat!
This area is tropical Mexico at its finest. Sitting on the warm blue Caribbean, and protected by a large reef system, the water and sandy beaches are excellent for all water sports. 20 minutes from our home is the town of Mahahual. A charming Mexican beach town with a very laid back Caribbean feel. Or visit while the cruise ships are in town and visit the pier for a little shopping. Tired of snorkeling, diving, eating and drinking? Within two hours of us, adventures await you with many Mayan archeological ruins, zip line tours, excursions into the remote Sian Kaan Biosphere, the country of Belize, and quaint Mayan villages.
