Delightful and Accommodating

Property was wonderful, about a half mile from Metro, and has a couple of good restaurants/bars around the corner. We were accommodated with an early arrival and a late departure. Good resources were left for us. The downstairs living area was cool, well decorated, and comfortable. We found there was no air conditioning upstairs, which made our summer visit a bit warm while trying to sleep. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I recommend the location.

Great spacious home with a unique layout

This property had great character and a spacious dining area. We utilized the kitchen and entertaining area to their fullest potential and loved it. We had some difficulties squeezing two vehicles into the parking area out back, but evetually made it work. Its also worth noting that the location didnt seem like the best area to walk around in, but we didn't have any problems.

Comfortable and convenient!

Property was exactly as described and had everything we needed for a comfortable long weekend stay in the DC area. Convenient location to access the Metro and get anywhere that we needed. We also enjoyed the selection of board games provided - perfect way to spend some family time on our last evening in town!

Very comfortable home; clean, well-maintained and decorated home.

The house was very comfortable, well furnished. The outside neighborhood needs some love and care. A neighborhood clean-up/trash collection would be great. Hopefully, someone will buy the vacant houses on the block and renovate them

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive 4-star review. We're happy to hear you found the house comfortable & well furnished. Street cleaning takes place twice per week, hence the parking restrictions, to allow the sweeper to pass thru. Trash collection also happens twice a week. I'm only aware of (2) vacant houses on the block and both recently sold for $500K+ and both are CURRENTLY being renovated, but permitting in DC (DC.gov) is a slow process.

Loved it!!

This place was great! There were 10 of us in town for a wedding and needed a place to stay. The location was great and there was more than enough space for all of us. The block we were on was the cutest and we never felt unsafe. We were arriving early so they let us check in as early as we needed, and the same for checking out a few days later. When we arrived, the city had accidentally turned the gas off in the house (they were supposed to turn off the neighbor’s). Sherman was very helpful and quick with getting it turned back on. Thank you for adding to an amazing first experience in D.C.!!
