Spazioso e confortevole appartamento a Trastevere

  • 5 of 5

Siamo stati in questo appartamento tra fine marzo e inizio aprile 2017. Ottima posizione, fuori dal caos cittadino ma nel centro città, proprio di fronte alle Mura Gianicolensi dove all'interno c'è un bellissimo parco. A pochi passi c'è fermata bus, stazione taxi, supermarket, lavanderia e tutti i sevizi necessari.

Spacious and quiet

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at the property because it's roomy and is in a residential area of Rome so we got a feel for how the real Romans live.

Property was clean and neat. Location is on the third floor so it's secure and has a nice view. There isn't AC, but fans and open windows do the trick. Definitely would stay here again.

A quiet oasis

  • 5 of 5

The apartment is bright and airy and located well out of the hubub of Rome proper. There is good bus service from the neighborhood to Pyramide/Tetstaccio and Termini (except on Sundays) and a nearby Taxi stand. The neighborhood has several great restaurants including the wonderful "Il Foccolare" just a few blocks from the apartment. There are two farmers' markets nearby 6 days a week as well as a small supermarket very close to the apartment.

It is a bit of a climb up from Trastevere but we usually walked up instead of taking the bus, and we are 65 and had a three-year old with us as well. Trastevere is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. The Janiculum is about a 20 minute walk and Saint Peters is about 30 minute walk beyond the top of the Janiculum.

The owner/managers were very helpful and did every thing they said they would do and more. The ride service they arranged for trips to and from Fiumichino was totally reliable as well, with a perfect 5 out of 5 for showing up on time.

My wife and I rented the apartment for a full month and for two weeks of that we had two other couples (our kids) and a three year old. We fit easily with more than ample room for everyone to relax in the big living room. The kitchen, like every Roman kitchen I've seen, is small but very efficient and certainly up to the task of cooking for 7 people.

The neighborhood is rather wealthy and is quiet and uncrowded. The apartment looks out on the massive old wall around the Villa Sciarra park and has a small view through the trees out to the Forum.

We would absolutely rent this apartment again if we got the chance.
