We live, work and travel in the Pacific NW and Alaska. We often travel for work and appreciate a comfortable home to stay in. Our home respresents what we love. When we travel internationally we stay in vacation homes and get to know the community. Its a great way to see the world. Quiet, private, peaceful...No noise from hotel hallway, entertain clients or guests in a fine atmosphere!
We chose Magnolia due to its wonderful views and great family atmopshere. We enjoy the community, shops, bistros...views. We love that its so close (5 minutes from the office downtown) a very inviting community within walking distance and close to bus transportation downtown.
City Skyline views within walking distance, Panoramic Puget Sound Views, Olympic Mountains and Eliot Bay from the property. A pair of Eagles perched high on the tree located on the bluff almost every morning, they have been there for years! You can watch them from bed or the breakfast nook, hear them call around 6am-7am, and then around 8 am they go about their day.
Hope you got my message after I arrived in Portland......didn't have time in Seattle to respond.
We ALL loved your beautiful home and it's location with the fabulous views and convenience to our younger son & his family who live on the upper section of Thorndyke. Everyone walked back and forth quite often. We sat out in your back yard a lot since the weather was perfect for that. Nice grill!
Plus the beds were super comfortable. Great situation as our older son & his wife could have the basement suite. They were impressed!
My 2 grandsons really enjoyed playing hide & seek in your house as they remembered from the last time how many good places to stay concealed!
The flowers and bushes in your neighborhood were spectacular this trip. So appreciated after our long hard winter.
Thanks again and we would love to stay there again next visit! So far our favorite vacation rental in Magnolia.
We throughly enjoyed or stay at this beautifully appointed vacation home. Everything was just as advertised and more. We felt like we were walking into someone's home, fresh and clean, perfectly decorated, fully furnished kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, even a full array of spices in the cupboard. Nice quiet neighborhood, accessible to all the sites in Seattle.
We'll definitely look up this gem again on our next visit to Seattle. Great job!!
We loved Lynn's home. It was as beautiful as pictured with even a little larger kitchenette table. The yard was perfect and the view was lovely. At night seeing the lights in the city in the distance and watching the lit boats cruise was wonderful. Very comfortable beds and we wanted tor nothing. Home was super clean. It was close enough to get to sites in the city to see, like the Space Needle and the duck ride but then you come back to a lovely neighborhood. We had a toddler with us so we went to a number of beautiful parks. On top of the wonderful home, Lynn is very nice and quick to respond to any question. Thanks so much. Would love to come again another time.
SeaEscape Home is a fantastic Rental! We recently had a college graduate and rented Lynn's home to be near the graduation. The home is very clean and well stocked for everything you might need. I was able to cook for the graduation gathering afterwards and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather for the afternoon. Great location and minutes to stores and downtown Seattle. Lynn was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. Highly recommend SeaEscape.
I'm big on cleanliness and this house definitely fit that bill. And it was so much more..... It was a great location for getting to downtown Seattle. There was a great view and lots of parks within walking distance. The house also had a lot of extras so you didn't have to shop to stock the home for a week. For example there was laundry detergent and spices to say the least. We also loved the game closet since we were traveling wth a 7 and 5 year old. I can't say enough. we loved the house!
My family and I loved our stay at SeaEscape. The area is very walker friendly and close to shops, sights, and everything else you could need in the area. The beds were very comfortable, there were no complaints from anyone! It was great to have a fully stocked kitchen, including the grill. The views are amazing. The house is great for bigger parties, we never felt cramped or crowded even when the entire family was in the kitchen or living room. I would definitely recommend this for larger parties, especially for those unfamiliar with the area. The owner is very quick to respond to any questions. There were several recommendations about the area-any questions you could possibly think of (places to eat, transportation options, things to do, etc) are addressed in the book.
So glad we found this home in beautiful Magnolia! We had a rental car and I'm so happy we chose to stay here instead of downtown. Driving into downtown with rush hour traffic was really bad. But the house is only about 10 minutes from downtown and the neighborhood was gorgeous!! Beautiful views from the windows! We saw hummingbirds on the flowers everyday! We stayed here before our Alaskan cruise. The dock was less the 5 minutes away. The house was wonderful! Bathrooms and bedrooms were fantastic! Loved the kitchen! It was so nice that they had paper products there on top of the fully stocked kitchen. Even dishwashing and laundry soap!! We didn't want to leave! The house was spic and span! Everything was perfect! Great communication with owner and caretaker! The HomeAway app was very helpful! Great food in Magnolia also. Would definitely come back!
The Magnolia Neighborhood is located on a peninsula west of Queen Anne Hill‚ south of the Ballard Locks and Fishermen's Terminal‚ and only minutes from downtown Seattle‚ Magnolia with its natural boundaries has a special feeling of being an island, although it is actually a peninsula. Accessible by three bridges‚ Magnolia is a special place to live and visit‚ it is close to the city but has a small town feel.
