Would give this six stars if we could!
Absolutely beautiful home! Designer decorated but still very comfortable. Rooms were large with beautiful vaulted ceilings. Kitchen is well-appointed. The ensuite bathroom adjoining the master bedroom was incredible. We could also spend days just enjoying the wraparound porch and watching the world go by. Liz is a wonderful host and we will definitely be visiting again.
Know before you go: This home is located near the top of a ridge on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest. The one-lane road/driveway is steep but well-paved. You do need to be comfortable with mountain driving. There is ample level parking at the cabin itself. Cell phone service was spotty for us (AT&T), however there is excellent high speed Wifi provided, so you can make VOIP calls (like Google voice or Skype), or use your preferred messenger applications. Or just enjoy getting disconnected from the world for a little while! There is a landline so you won't be disconnected if an urgent need arises.
Thank you so much. We would love to have you back anytime! We certainly are happy that you were pleased with the cabin.
Awesome cabin! Clean and comfortable. Has everything you need. Loved outdoor fire pit area!! Peaceful and quiet!! Owners very friendly and easy to work with. Perfect weekend getaway!
My husband and I stayed for a long Christmas weekend. The cabin was absolutely perfect, loved everything about it. It was also immaculately clean :) The cabin has a beautiful view as well. We felt right at home and will definitely plan on staying there again. The owner Liz is very nice, we didn't need anything but when I spoke with her before coming she was very informative and sweet, which I appreciate. Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us!
Beautiful view, beautiful cabin!
The cabin was beautiful! Loved the wrap around porch. Very comfortable and relaxing. We loved it and hope to come back.
Great fall weekend!
My husband and I only spent 2 days at Smoky Ridges, but we could have stayed longer! We loved how quiet it was at the house, and the interior was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the location, there were many sights to be seen in the area.
Very clean and well appointed cabin
