Guestbook comments from the owner

"Upon opening the door, we knew we had made the right choice for a mountain getaway cabin rental. It was spotless, very well decorated, all of the furniture was top-of-the-line and comfortable. Nothing was overlooked, including the high-thread count sheets and thick, soft towels. The view was amazing; the paved road leading up the ridge was excellent. The only thing missing was more time to enjoy it! The owner was also very thorough in providing all information needed. We can't say enough about this cabin!"

Lovely comfortable cabin with great views

  • 5 of 5

This is a great cabin, very comfortable with plenty of room. It is also very well positioned for a whole host of activities and sight seeing - and with a great wrap around verandah if you'd rather just relax!

Amazing Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

I highly recommend the Burns's cabin! Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the amazing views from the wraparound porch, the fully equipped kitchen, and cozy atmosphere. The cabin is in pristine condition, everything you need is at your fingertips, and you will be set up for the perfect mountain oasis. Downtown Hiawassee is only 15 min away with several scenic views. Our group also drove about 30 min to Helen on a rainy day, so this cabin is in the perfect spot to be able to see several different areas. The Burns's were very accommodating and at your fingertips if you needed help. I loved my stay and glad I booked it!
