LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Best price in this location! This 2 bedroom/2 bath Lower Willows Condominium is located just 2 minutes from the brand new Base Village and just off of Fanny Hill! Base Village is the new heart of the mountain and contains many shops and restaurants and a new gondola for skiing in the winter or biking during the summer season.

The condo has ski-in/ski-out access with a short 2 minute walk on a heated path to Fanny Hill where you can jump right on the slope and ski down to a 6-pack lift or gondola at Base Village. No need to drive or shuttle to the ski area, just walk right out your door 100 yards to the lift! It is easy to ski right down for lunch and a short break before you tear up the slopes in the afternoon, or stay up on the mountain at one of the many fine on-mountain restaurants.

If you like, you can also easily walk up to the Snowmass Village Mall to sample the shops and restaurants there. You don't have to drive once you arrive unless you want to take a trip into Aspen or visit one of the other mountains that is part of the Aspen skiing company.

There is free parking in the lot right outside the front door with plenty of room for guests. The condo is conveniently located close to several shuttle stops that can take you into Aspen for a night on the town or up to the Village Mall for the restaurants and shopping up there (if you do not want to walk the 5 minutes!).

The condo features a full service kitchen with microwave, stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender and all pots and pans and utensils. There is a full-size dining table that seats 6-8 people and a full living room area with a flat panel 42' TV, DVD player, stereo and gas fireplace. There is a full size sleeper sofa in the living room that sleeps another 2 people.

***New for the 2014-2015 Ski Season.

The Master Bedroom has a king size bed with brand new, plush, memory foam mattress, with soft and warm bedding, and pillows. There is also a brand new 32' flat screen t.v. in the master suite equipped with cable, that is free for guests.

The second suite has a brand new bunk bed, with full over full sized beds, each with memory foam mattresses AND a stowaway trundle bed that stores conveniently just underneath the bunk. This room can easily accommodate 3 - 5 people. This room also has a 32' flat screen t.v., that comes equipped with cable.

The 2 bathrooms each have a tub/shower combination and the front bathroom has a washer/dryer for your cleaning needs.

There are pools and hot tubs a short walk from the unit that are for use of all the residents and guests.

The condo is only 15 minutes from the Aspen airport, 45 minutes from Glenwood Springs and the renowned hot springs pool, and 1 hr 30 minutes from the Eagle/Vail airport, where direct 757 flights from many cities are available.

This condo has been in our family since the ski resort's inception and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have!

About Marshall Lee

I'm an avid skier, and learned to ski in Snowmass, when i was 3 years old. I am the third generation to own/manage our condominium, as it has been in the family since 1967...the year that Snowmass Mountain 'opened.'

I reside in Chicago, Illinois with my lovely wife, Allyson, but i usually make my way to Snowmass at least once a year. In addition to managing our property, i am a business owner, and investor. I am also an absolute "dog guy," and have two 7 year old male Lab/Weimaraners.

I'm very easy to work with, and enjoy making connections. My goal, is to attract repeat customers, and referrals, and this is what i strive to do.

It's very important to me, to know that you enjoy your stay at my property as much as me, and my family have for almost 50 years. If there's anything that i can do, just ask.

The location was amazing and easy to find. The fireplace worked great and the two recliners were great but caused some issues because no one wanted to give up their seat :) It's close to the slopes and a bunch of places to eat. The beds are very comfortable as well. Perfect for a group of skiers or families that don't want to pay $500 a night for a cramped room at the Westin. Will stay there again for sure!

A great place to stay in Snowmass.

Convenient to shuttle or to drive but still very quiet. Nice that the front porch was private. A little confusion with the bedding but the owner was quick to take care of it with the management company. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Nice location - everything you need within minutes from you!

This was my family's first trip to Colorado. We had a group of 5. The condo was perfect for the price. The only surprise to me was that there was no air conditioning. I freaked out at first. Being from KY, the air is always hot and humid even during the nighttime hours. I was unaware how cool it stayed in Colorado in the evenings, so the lack of air conditioning was not really an issue after all. We opened the windows when it got warm and kept the blinds and curtains pulled down during the days to keep the sun out. There are many restaurants, groceries and shopping within walking distance. We rode the gondola lift to the mall area several times for eating & shopping. The lift is free and open from 10am to 10pm. The community pool and hot tub were right around the side of the building, also in walking distance. The condo was stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need including laundry detergent, trash bags, cleaning supples, towels, dishes, toilet paper, etc. The condo location worked well with our white water rafting adventure also since they picked us up our parking lot and brought us back too! This area makes everything convenient for their guests.

The only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the condo was fair to poor as their are not many ceiling lights... they used lamps mostly and some of them did not work, which Marshall offered to come and repair but I told him it wasn't a big deal. Also the landline phones did not work, but that also was not important since we had good service with our cell phones. The cleanliness of the condo can improve greatly. The carpets and walls were very dirty. But other these minor things, we had a fabulous week and Marshall was very quick to communicate with me over whatever I needed. He is very attentive to all your needs and tries to make sure you have everything you need before you arrive. Thanks Marshall!

Alpine Condo -- great value

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Its proximity to the shops at Snowmass and Clark's supermarket is ideal. The drive to Aspen is a little long, but it's a gorgeous setting. Place could use a few updates, but was clean and comfortable. We're mountain bikers, so we'd have liked to have had access to a washer/dryer, but overall it's a great value and we would stay there again.

We're planning a few upgrades in the next two years, and we're excited to announce that we will be completely renovating the kitchen, and both bathrooms. The kitchen will be first up, and the bathrooms will be the following year. As far as the washer, and dryer are concerned...we do indeed have them in our condo, and they're free for all guests to use :) They're located in the closet of the second bathroom, and we also include all detergents, and fabric softeners. The welcome letter that was sent to you, details all the amenities that we offer, and how you can access them. I'm sorry that they were missed. As always, you can contact me at ANY time, so don't hesitate to do so, during future visits. My property manager is right in Snowmass, and we're always happy to accommodate guest requests. Snowmass is THE ski area of the four Aspen mountains, with more than double the acreage of the other three Aspen areas, combined. The Willows is conveniently located a short walk from the new Base Village, and is an easy walk up to the existing Mall. Willows F 1&2 is a two bedroom, two bath unit a short (hundred yard, or so) walk over to the slopes, where you can board the Sam's Knob detachable six-pack to ride up to the Big Burn, or catch the gondola up to Elk Camp. The city of Aspen is a short, 15 minute drive to the east, and for more ammenities, head down valley to Glenwood Springs, for what is touted as the world's largest hot springs pool. In the warm weather, enjoy a myriad of activities, including hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, famed Aspen shopping, sight-seeing, old mining towns and some of the bluest skies you can ever imagine.
