About the property

Relaxing holiday accommodation for families and friends.

With amazing views into the Kanimbla Valley and out towards Oberon, it provides a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. The fully fenced acre of yard and gardens provide lots of space for the kids to play and for the adults to enjoy a quiet coffee amongst the flowers.

The Potteridge is central to many famous tourist attractions including Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters, the Scenic Railway, Govetts Leap and the Glow worm caves at Newness. There are many bushwalks in the area including some from the front door.

Mt Victoria town centre is a very short stroll away where you will find antique shops, cafes, the local pub and the famous Mt Vic Flicks.

Enjoy the spectacular views from the comfort of the lounge and snuggle by the slow combustion woodfire.

There is a BBQ provided on the deck and this is the perfect place to sit with a drink and watch the sunset. You may also be fortunate to see the kangaroos roaming the garden at dusk and dawn or the magnificent colourful bird life feeding in the trees.

The kitchen is stocked with ample dinnerware and cookware, including muffin & cake tins. A small coffee machine is available for your use, as is a breadmaker. If you like the idea of freshly baked bread, then don’t forget to pack a bread mix packet – or two!

The Potteridge has 5 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 10 people.

Peace and Tranquility

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at the Potteridge on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed our time. The setting is peaceful and tranquil with superb views over the valley. The house is extremely comfortable and clean. Plenty of beds with loads of blankets to keep you warm on a winter's night. The combustion stove in the living room heats the entire house. The kitchen and amenities are ample. There are large gardens to wonder amongst and a great covered deck for entertaining or just to while away the hours with a good book or admiring the view. A great holiday with family or friends or a couples get away. Highly recommended.

Lovely property!

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time in the property! In particular, we really liked the multiple living rooms which were perfect for our two families and the great view from the deck - watch out for the mosquitoes in summer though! We also appreciated all the cooking equipment thank you!

The location is excellent - close to bushwalking trails and lookouts - we loved avoiding the crowds at Katoomba. Mt Victoria is such a quiet peaceful place too, so great to walk and ride around with kids.
