Beautiful, stunning home away from home !!
This was my third stay in Talbingo & my second stay at Miller's. I absolutely love the renovations on the home & garden. Classy, cosy & just stunning. This home caters to family stays or a romantic getaway. So much space inside the beautuful , immaculate home & especially on the spacious deck. The views are just breathtaking. The huge spa was perfect after a day taking in the local sights. I highly recommend staying at Miller's. Peaceful, welcoming, fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Thank you Darren, you're an incredible host & I
will definitely return soon. I loved my stay in
your home...congratulations on having such a beautiful property.
Loved our stay again
Thank you again Darren for a wonderful 2 weeks in Millers Retreat. We’ve stayed a couple of times and haven’t been disappointed. Fans in all the rooms made the horrendous hot nights bearable. Love the spa after a day out skiing and the back deck in the evening and morning. So relaxing, so comfortable. A pleasure!!!
Really enjoyed our stay. Our son had fun running around, chasing skinks with our dog. Visited daily by the Roos and saw the town peacock. Heaps of movies to pick from and the Xbox was a hit. We used the provided board games many times on the back veranda. Kitchen had anything you would need. Being pet friendly was great but I was a bit worried about the height of the fences but didn’t seem an issue since our dog is small and we locked her up when we went out. 6 days felt like only 3 days, very relaxing and we will be back!!! Only feedback is the grass could’ve been shorter with it being hot but can understand it not being done with it being the silly season. Highly recommended to anyone looking for value for money. Darren was a great host =)
Thanks April, Appreciate your comments. We used to have gates on the deck but they were destroyed and I have some replacements on order, (steel framed). All fences in Talbingo are the same height. We did mow the lawn a week and a half prior to your stay, sorry if this affected your visit and hope to see you back again. Have a great New Year.
Lovely property for a relaxing get away!
My friends and I have stayed in MANY Talbingo homes over the years (each summer - since we're waterskiers) and this property will be one we'll choose again. With a park directly across the street, it's fantastic for families with children.
My only advice to other stayers (in the summer) is to bring a stand up fan or two as the rooms get rather warm with only the one A/C unit in the kitchen.
Hi Karen, Thanks for your kind words. There are pedestal fans in the bedrooms and if you direct the aircon down the hall it cools the whole house quite nicely. Would love to see you and your family back anytime. Have a wonderful Christmas. Darren
fantastic house, great views, has every thing you could want for a weekend away
Great mountain retreat
Really enjoyed our stay, property has been nicely renovated with all the modern conveniences
