My name is Jeffery Hill and I have been renting my homes in Puerto Vallarta and Florida for over 14 years. As my business has grown, so has my ability, to provide great properties and great service.
On my website at www.VacationInPuertoVallarta.com you will see over 20 properties. I own 5 of these homes and rent the remainder for others. Am I a rental agent? Well, yes and no. Almost all of the homes on my site have a personal connection. I do interior design and many of the properties are owned by clients who hired me to create the vacation rental for them and then manage their rental business. Other properties are owned by friends and neighbors, who have seen what I do, and have asked me to bring their property up to my standards and do the rentals for them. So unlike many rental agents, my agenda is not just to make money. My goal is to create a unique collection of very special properties, in many price ranges, with many different flavors, and provide great service to my guests.
In Puerto Vallarta, I am fortunate to have an amazing staff who work very hard to maintain my properties and take care of my guests. We offer optional services such as airport pickup, groceries delivered upon arrival, chef services and assistance with restaurant ideas, tours, etc. We are not always perfect, but our goal is to do the best to provide you with your best vacation ever. If you are traveling to celebrate a special occasion, let us know and we will help make it more special. If you are traveling with a larger group, let us know and we will make suggestions for properties located close to each other that will accommodate your group. In other words, tell us what you want and we will see what we can do.
I offer private homes and condos most of which are located in the Old Town/Romantic Zone area of Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita, and Fort Lauderdale Florida
Studio Perfect for Two
Combine with Casa Alegre for Large Groups
We stayed at Casa Celeste for a week in July 2013. It was an outstanding experience. We took advantage of the airport pickup and grocery service. Ricardo picked us up and was a gracious support right away. When we arrived at the casa, it was in amazing condition and you cant imagine the beautiful views and complete privacy. The patio with grill, dining table and private pool were perfect. The location was central yet private and the neighbors friendly. Gloria, the housekeeper was fantastic. We could not have enjoyed Casa Celeste more! I highly recommend for a couple seeking a beautiful, high quality condo with exquisite finishes and privacy with walking distance to all restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back.

Casa Celeste was mostly as advertised. Condo was perfectly designed, furnished, appointed and clean. Inside/outside spaces work really well. Art works were appreciated. We enjoyed the pool, relaxing on the patio and cooking most of our evening meals with a glass or two of wine while watching the sun set over the bay. The five flight walk up was as expected, but renters need to be ready for the climb. We hired a couple of local lads for a few pesos to carry up groceries and wine. So why not a four or five rating? Picture in advertising doesn't show a recently built large building that blocks some of the view of the city. The drinking water filter system didn't work for our entire two weeks even though we alerted staff. (Staff did provide one 5 litre jug) The pool was broken for three days and not usable. Some minor repairs needed to outside lights. But the biggest issue was with a neighbour who is raising about 20 fighting cocks (roosters). They started crowing at 4:30 am and continued until dusk. This annoyance alone would eliminate this condo from our future visits to PV. We've been holidaying in PV 2 or 3 times per year for 12 years and are well aware that roosters exist throughout the city, but this concentration and related noise really offset the great things about this condo. One final positive was the staff. They were prompt in responding to questions/problems, thorough and pleasant.
Stayed in this unit 25 Dec through to Jan 1
Clean and comfortable though definitely showing some wear both. Decor is dated, but fits the aesthetic of the owners other properties.
Pros: view, location, pool
Cons: taped together AC unit, thin feather pillows on bed, slow drains in bathroom sink and shower, no kettle
Would and have recommended, but it could use a sprucing up
Writing this review as I sit on the patio of the condo watching the sun rise on our last morning here. Truly a beautiful sight. Listening to the roosters and watching the town come alive each morning has been wonderful. Casa Celeste was exactly as shown in the pictures. The five flights of stairs to reach the condo were no fun but part of the scene of PV. The private pool was so refreshing after a day at Los Muertos Beach (which we went to almost every day). Jeffrey's restaurant recommendations were spot on. Every meal we had in PV was fabulous. We loved visiting the bakeries and sweet shops on Basilla Badilla to enjoy the unique flavors in Mexico. We quickly learned that a $3 taxi ride would get us back up the hill and home safely after a night out. No need to attempt the steep incline and be exhausted by the time you reach the condo. Everything we needed for a week stay was provided...beach towels, kitchen supplies, fresh linens, etc. And the evening ambience of Casa Celeste was perfect for our romantic getaway. Highly recommend getting airport transportation from Jeffrey. Simple and affordable knowing our trip to/from airport was taken care of. In all, Casa Celeste was absolutely wonderful as was Puerto Vallarta itself. We will return again very soon.
First let me explain who we are so you can get an idea if our review is relevant to you : )
We are a couple in our early 50's, fairly active, we enjoy nice restaurants but aren't foodies, we like to explore a city, meet it's residents (or other tourists) and we love to play golf and get in the ocean when possible. We seasoned travellers and enjoy travel as often as we can get away (5+ times a year at least.)
So when we were looking for a romantic getaway and found Casa Celeste we were excited... but worried about a couple things. 1) The location....AND 2) could it possible live up to the photos in the listing? Well a resounding YES about the photos and the location could not have been better. In our emails to Jeff, he assured us the location was fine (5 Minute walk to Zona Romantica) and the walk wasn't that bad, and he was bang on right! (Even in 32+ heat and humidity.) On the way back the walk is a bit longer or a $3.00 USD cab ride works too.
We arranged airport pick up and groceries through Jeff and everything was flawless upon arrival. Fresh fruits and veggies, nice wine, tequila and all our breakfast fixings for the week were ready and waiting. The condo is equipped with every cooking utensil, bowl, pot or kitchen gadget you could ever want!
Jeff has a great binder made up and left on the counter, with local knowledge that was so appreciated and 100% correct, we tried many of his recommendations and absolutely LOVED Cafe Teresa!! We ate there 3 times.
Evenings after dinner were spent in the pool or enjoying a perfect view of the sunset and fireworks out on the bay. This condo is well worth a visit any time of year....Well done Jeff and team!!!!
We have been to Puerto Vallarta several times and usually stay in a different location each time, but this condo far exceeded any place we've ever stayed! It was so nice to have a pool right there on our terrace and the terrace is huge! The fountains in the room provided a soothing background noise and the lighting, as well as all the decorating in the room is nothing like I've ever seen. Ricardo, Gloria, and Pedro were wonderful to us! The walk up the hill is steep but we only took a cab a couple times and got our exercise the rest of the time. The view is amazing! We tried many of the restaurants Jeffery recommended and enjoyed them all. We also visited the local market and bought fruit and fish to grill, and the Saturday market a block from the ocean was incredible. We bought homemade ravioli and bread to fix back at the condo. We always do the Home Tour through the International Friendship Club and love it every year. We can't say enough good things about this condo. As the description says, it's truly a "gem in the clouds." Thanks Jeffery!
We absolutely LOVED staying at Casa Celeste! It was perfect!! This was our first time in Puerto Vallarta and staying here made the experience even more enjoyable. The space was beautifully decorated and perfectly located. The Maid was very friendly and kept the condo nice and clean. We had the Chef, Mary, cook for us one night and it was an incredible meal! We went to a lot of the restaurants that Jeffery recommended and they were all wonderful... we especially enjoyed Archie's Wok and Joe Jack's Fish Shack. We also went to the grocery store and were able to cook our own meals in the stunning kitchen! One of the highlights for us was our Outdoor Adventure with "Vallarta Adventures". We've already recommended this condo to everyone we know... but want to keep it a secret because we loved it so much! We'll definitely be back!! Thanks again!!!
