The ULTIMATE experience - Waterfront apartment with amazing Sydney Harbour views
Cremorne Point is a peninsula of land located on the picturesque Lower North Shore of Sydney Harbour, separating Shell Cove from Mosman Bay. It is one of the city’s most prestigious and convenient locations.
Renowned for its stunning views across the world’s most beautiful harbour. An eight minute scenic ferry ride has you at Circular Quay, the gateway to Sydney’s CBD. Directly opposite is the Opera House , Fort Denison and the Royal Botanic Gardens, with views stretching from the Harbour Bridge in the west, to Vaucluse in the east.
A perfect setting to view the fireworks displays from the harbour and bridge, as well as the Sydney to Hobart Yacht races.
Sit and watch the ferries, watercabs, sailing and speed boats sail by your front door. You will also see huge ocean liners and massive tankers making their way in and out of the harbour.
Enjoy a picnic on the foreshore.
Enjoy one of the most scenic foreshore walks in Sydney from Cremorne Point to Mosman Bay.
Why would you want to stay anywhere else?
Walk up a couple of steps from the front lawn and you can enter the apartment through a private door into the dining and sitting rooms, which have stunning views of the Harbour including the Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. Dine at night with the city and harbour lights as your backdrop.
The apartment is on the ground floor of a block of seven. It occupies the whole width of the building and thus has no immediate neighbour.
It has its own private lawn bordering Cremorne Point Reserve. Beyond the Reserve is the harbour foreshore, with sensational uninterrupted views to the Opera House, CBD and the Harbour Bridge.
MINIMUM STAY OF 3 NIGHTS AT THIS PROPERTY
A lovely spacious two bedroom apartment, with built in robes, which sleeps four comfortably, and provides expansive open plan living, with high ceilings enhanced by sandstone feature walls.
Main bedroom has a CD player.
Ultra modern equipped kitchen.
Stunning marble bathroom .
A 2nd half bathroom has washbasin and toilet. This room doubles as the laundry, with an automatic washing machine and a dryer.
There is a second large sitting room that opens off another entrance.
All linen and towels are supplied.
Just outside the apartment is Cremorne Point Reserve, which has one of the best scenic walks in the world. Take the footpath and head south-east.
After two minutes you will be at the MacCallum Pool, a 22 metre pool that overlooks the harbour. This is a popular swimming location that started out as a rock pool created by the local residents to form a safe harbour swimming hole. The pool dates back to the nineteen-twenties and has been restored in keeping with this heritage. The unique waterside timber deck is an unparalleled sunbathing spot.
Look back and admire the spectacular panoramic view of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and the city skyline. The Royal Botanic Gardens can also be seen adjacent to and to the east of the Opera House.
Continue along the foreshore walk for another five minutes and you are at the Cremorne Point Wharf. From here ferries run every half-hour to and from the city and round the point to Mosman Bay.
Another five minutes in the same direction will get you to the lighthouse on Robertson’s Point, the extreme end of Cremorne Point. The view of the harbour from here extends around three hundred degrees, a wonderful vantage point for watching the yacht races and all the life of the busy harbour.
Head along the eastern foreshore of Cremorne Point and time will be forgotten. There are too many things to look at: the shipyard; the boats at their moorings; the old houses;
the gardens; the whole of Mosman Bay.
Past the Rowers Club- or stop for a drink and meal- and you will see the boats at the marina and then Mosman Wharf. Have a coffee there and catch the ferry back!
Ferries run between Cremorne Point and Circular Quay every thirty minutes throughout the day and every forty-five minutes during the evening.
Circular Quay has a public transport hub that connects up the city’s trains, ferry and buses services.
Buses run from Cremorne Wharf , via Milson Road, to Neutral Bay Wharf, via the Military Road restaurant strip.
If you prefer to drive, the city’s system of motorways and tunnels link in a short distance from Cremorne Point.
Take in a movie at the beautiful restored Hayden Orpheum Picture Theatre at Cremorne, which for movie buffs regularly shows both older and house movies, as well as the latest releases.

Probably our 6th visit to this apartment. Quality throughout and a perfect location for views and a walk around the point to take in harbour views and the arts and crafts houses around that area. Ferry a short walk away which gives access to centre of Sydney and Barangaroo. Views out the window at dusk as the cbd lights start to come on are pretty special too. Cremorne Orpheum cinemas close by and is worth seeing just for the old world charm. Local IGA supermarket is a 5 minute drive. Also would recommend a café called Burnt Orange on Middle Head. Great time once again. 2019 booking underway.
thanks again, Ken and Liz
Thank you for your lovely review and it is always a delight to welcome you all back each year and know that you find new things to do each year. The views of the harbour foreshore and being in a quiet location adds to a wonderful stay.
No-one should miss seeing a movie at the Cremorne Orpheum, as it takes you back to another era.
I am sure that guests will try out Burnt Orange at Middle Head.
Look forward to hosting you all again next year.
The house was great and the views were amazing
We had a great stay, everything that you need is there and the views made the stay amazing. Very close to the ferry terminal. Jenny was also very accommodating in allowing us to get in early and staying longer.
So gratifying Sharon to know that you had a great stay and had everything that you needed in the apartment as this is what I aim for.
The views across Sydney Harbour has to be up there with the best views in the world, especially as you look across to the Opera House , with the Harbour Bridge off to the side- always something happening on the water.
The ferry being so close to the apartment is a great way to travel- although there is always a choice of bus transport outside the building.
Look forward to having you back again when in Sydney again.
Excellent Apartment, view and location
Probably our fifth stay, apartment has everything required and all of high quality. View from dining table is uninterrupted to opera house and Sydney cbd. a real treat to watch Sydney harbour ferries, the lights come on at night, and to see the huge cruise ships leaving between 6pm and 8pm. Enjoy the morning walk doing the loop around cremorne point reserve, taking in the harbour foreshores and the federation arts and crafts houses. And easy access to the Sydney cbd using the cremorne point ferry. Visiting the Cremorne Orpheum restored cinema complex is always a pleasure. IGA supermarket at Cremorne is 5 minute drive. A great place to stay, Already booked for 2018.
Always great to know that you all enjoyed your stay , and knowing you delight in doing a diverse range of activities, whilst you are there- I always enjoy hearing about what you did. The morning walk around the foreshore with those beautiful views and homes is always a good start to the day. Looking forward to your next visit.
Great Location with Breathtaking view of the City.
Our family spent 4 nights in this beautiful apartment and will definitely be back. The location is amazing and the view is incredible. We swam in the local pool, did many walks around the point and ferry trips into the city. The beds are comfortable and the apartment has everything you could possibly want.
Thank-you for your lovely review and wonderful to hear that you all enjoyed the apartment and took full advantage of the activities on your doorstep. The habour swimming pool, with views across to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge- would have to be one of the best swimming pools in the world- as far a s views go. And the walks around the harbour foreshore are so relaxing, as well as picturesique. Look forward to having you stay again when back over in Sydney.
We enjoyed our stay and found the location very accessible. Short ferry ride from Circular Quay and 6 -7 min walk to apartment. Only issue may be steep step in and out of bath if you have agility issues. Had a fabulous time. Soaked up views and walks around foreshore. Jenny very kindly checked how everything was going during our stay. Be aware ferry timetable changes over the weekend and later at night!! Recommend for relaxation or exploring !!!
So pleased that you enjoyed your stay and had a relaxing time and got to do the walks around the foreshore. These walks are relaxing in themselves, as you get to enjoy the scenery, gardens and art deco homes. Yes, the ferry timetables do change in the evening and at week-ends, with the timetables for the various ferries in the Transport Booklet in the apartment. Look forward to having you stay again when next in Sydney.
Fantastic - one of the best views of Sydney
Apartment was beautiful and had everything we required in it. Excellent location with amazing views of Sydney Harbour. Fantastic walks around the harbour. Thoroughly enjoyed it - found it very relaxing - thank you - will definitely be back:)
Very gratifying to know that you enjoyed your stay in the apartment and had everything that you required, and most importantly was able to relax. Being directly on the Sydney Harbour foreshore, gives you something different to see at all times of the day- with the Opera House as your background. It was great to see that you did the walks around the harbour foreshore, as this is an experience that everyone should do and experience to enjoy the beauty of the quiet surrounds, gardens and art deco homes on the foreshore. Looking forward to having you back again when you next are in need of a relaxing break.
