Lovely and comfortable

A fantastic place to stay in a really nice peaceful building on Acland Street.Although a studio it doesn't feel cramped at all as the space has been utilised so well. Lots of cupboard space and everything you could possibly need and more.Also there is a lovely balcony,so nice to sit outside and soak up the sun.

The location of the flat is perfect too, just a couple of minutes walk to the tram stop and 5 minutes walk to the glorious beach. St Kilda is a great place to stay,spoilt for choice for cafes and restaurants.The Sunday market along the esplanade is worth a visit too.

Also the booking was so swift and efficient i was contacted within an hour of my query and everything easily booked up the next morning.Also i was allowed to check in two hours earlier than planned which was very kind. I had a fantastic two weeks and was sad to leave!Would love to stay here again when i'm next in Melbourne.

I booked this apartment but was asked to stay in another after the booking was confirmed. The St Kilda Stayz staff were terrific and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at an upgraded apartment.

Great location - good value for short stay

I stayed for nearly 3 weeks as I found the location excellent. Be warned it is smaller than the pictures look.

For a longer stay there are communal washing machines & dryers in the complex. Supermarkets, cafes, trams are mins walk away.

Only downside could be a little noisey - I stayed at another apartment in the complex and this one seemed to be noisier due to location near fire door which people used to enter from car park.

It is a small studio however a clever use of space and for some the size does not appear to be an issue, I guess it depends on what one is used to. Thank you for pointing out the noise from the fire escape door , we have been in touch with the Body Corporate to address this. This particular studio does have it's own washing machine and dryer , however the one downstairs does not but as Lorraine has mentioned there are communal washing facilities on the same level. I stayed at Acland St for three weeks. What I can say is Acland St is perfect.The most impressive aspect is the location.400 mtr to St Kilda Beach,400 mtr to "Cappacino Strip,400 mtr to Supermarket,(open 6am-Midnight),150 paces to 2 city bound trams,250 paces to another city bound tram,trams every 7 mins. The list is endless.As to the accommodation? First Rate.Everything supplied.All cooking facilities,all cutlery,crockery for 4 people.All linen. Absolutely everything is supplied,including an iron.CD Player.Washing Machine and Dryers on premises.Ad Infinitum.My next visit to Melbourne I will be staying at The Beach House on Acland !Go ahead.Stay at Acland.Top Votes from Brett From Perth.
