About the property

This accommodation is ideal for holidays for one or two people, and is regularly used by business people because of the broadband and the closeness to Adelaide City.

Magill, 7km (12 minutes by car) from the City, is the ideal base from which to explore Adelaide and the famous Wine districts. For the more adventurous, there is plenty of bush walking (Morialta Conservation Park in Rostrevor), and the beaches are not too far.

The suite is located at the back of a well presented 80 year old house, but is itself less than ten years old and has separate private access.

It contains a queen size bed, (an extra single bed if required), dining table and chairs, sofa, television, washing machine, iron and hair dryer. You also have access to a pool-side table setting and pool.

A private land phone line is connect to the suite for local calls, and Broadband (Telstra cable) is available if you have a laptop.

The limited kitchen facilities include a microwave, kettle, toaster oven, fridge, crockery, cutlery, cookware and cooking utensils, are all located in a separate room of the suite.

Regrettably, this accommodation is not suitable for babies or children under 16.

Adjacent to your room is a large ensuite which also contains a washing machine. The limited kitchen facilities include a microwave, kettle, toaster oven, fridge, crockery, cutlery, cookware and cooking utensils, are all located in a separate room of the suite.

Facilities and Services:

You will be provided with milk, tea/coffee, juice, bottled water, bread, butter, jam, ham, cheeze and cereal for your first morning. The limited kitchen facilities include a microwave, kettle, toaster oven, fridge, crockery, cutlery, cookware and cooking utensils, are all located in a separate room of the suite. A private land phone line is connect to the suite for local calls, and Broadband (Telstra cable) is available if you have a laptop.

The bus system is very good, and time tables are available. Two separate bus services are within walking distance from the house. Both buses travel via Currie Street, Grenfell Street, and King William Street, which are all located in the centre of Adelaide. The buses then proceed to beachside suburbs. We go by car into the city everyday for work, hence it may be possible to organise a ride to/from the city.

Secure off street parking is also available.

Location:

Enjoy the peaceful location of this large suite situated in Magill, a suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. The house to which it is attached is located on a quiet street, less than 500m away from hair and beauty parlours, grocery and take away food shops, and medical facilities.

The Gums Recreation Ground in Tranmere, about 800m from the house, contains a large park, playground and BBQ area.

Tennis courts, and a soccer playing field are about 700m away.

Uni SA (Magill Campus) is about 750m away.

Firle Plaza, located about 1.5 km from the house, contains almost everything you require (such as banks, chemist, Coles, K-Mart, restaurants, medical facilities and take away/home delivery shops).

Magill is the ideal base from which to explore Adelaide and the famous Wine districts. For the more adventurous, there is plenty of bush walking (Morialta Conservation Park in Rostrevor), and the beaches are not too far.

The city is approximately 7km from Magill. The bus stop to the city and beach is less than 200m away from the house. It takes about 25 minutes by bus to the city, and about an hour to the beach. By car these times can be halved.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay, quiet convenient location. Narrow access to room, down side of house. Could do with a kitchen sink & bench area. TV could be updated.

Close to the city and Morialta Falls for hikes or walks.Close to takeaways and shops.

Excellent and Homely !

This is a great property in a great location in Adelaide, particularly if you are a single traveler working in the vicinity of the CBD. It has all the necessary amenities including Microwave, ironing, TV and air-conditioning and not to mention a very comfortable double bed and adjoining swimming pool.

I was in Adelaide for a new job opportunity and was very conscientious about finding suitable accommodation particularly in the first few months, in order to make my transition to Adelaide and the new role as smooth as possible. Neil’s property more than met my needs, being situated in a quiet area only 20-30 min drive from Mile End where I worked. The room adjoins the main house, and the large open room/living area, and it's authentic character with an impressive collection of books and included WIFI made me feel right at home. Neil’s family were very welcoming and met any needs I had, and Neil was always a phone call away.

I also had the pleasure of staying at two of Neil’s other properties, both on my own and once with my young family. Similarly, they were both great, both in terms of location and all the amenities that were included. I have to mention that all of Neil’s properties have a charming character and a very homely feeling, which I found very appealing. They were also very well maintained.

Neil and his family are very friendly and accommodating people. Neil was very patient and corporative in accommodating my rather “clumsly” booking timetable, during a rather difficult time for me and my family during which I flew in and out of Sydney for work, whilst staying at various locations in Adelaide. Neil also went out of is way to invite me and my family to join them for a local function, and was always available for chat to share ideas, including places to see and job opportunities for my wife. All in all, the stay with Neil and his family made our time at Adelaide all the more enjoyable!
