About Kevin Soler

Here I am with Deb. Our goal is to make your stay exceptional. Also pictured is one of our boys, Smokey, a poodle/daschund mix. Nigel, our white toy poodle isn't pictured but he is always with us too. All four of us love walking around Cape May. You may see us on your visit to our fantastic home. We love the beach and the ocean and especially enjoy walking the gas lit streets in the evening. My daughters also have fond memories of the beach, zoo and time spent together in Cape May and in all the nearby seaside communities including Wildwood, Stone Harbor, Sea Isle City, Ocean City and the many towns in between. Our boys want us to make our retreat available to other well behaved boys and girls, both of their world and of ours so come, stay, relax and enjoy our home. As an FYI, Silver, our 15 year old minature poodle, passed away during the spring of 2010 and he is greatly missed. Those that knew him remember his kind spirit. He was a great treasure and he will always be remembered fondly. We rescued Smokey in March 2011 as a playmate for Nigel. At the time, Smokey was a 7 month old poodle mix and he has quickly learned where the ice cream and hot dog snacks can be found in Cape May. He and Nigel love running and playing on the beach as did Silver. We suspect your pet will too. Come stay and you will see and may God bless and enrich everyone that visits our home.

Why Kevin Soler chose Cape May

Our home was purchased to be close to the places we love. We hope you will enjoy our home and its wonderful location ideal for creating fun and fond memories. For over 30 years we have been enjoying Cape May and now share our favorite shore resort with our guests at our three Cottages.

What makes this cottage unique

We provide you and your family a wonderful cottage to relax and enjoy Cape May. The front porch furniture is ideal for a good nap or a place to enjoy the strolling Cape May visitors. More privacy is enjoyed on our covered rear porch area. Enjoy our newer vintage beach cruiser bikes for a great ride to Sunset Beach or a casual cruise around town. Head to our wonderful beach with beach chairs that we provide along with an umbrella and beach blankets. This cozy cottage is a wonderful retreat and includes central air/heat, new furniture and appliances, a washer/dryer and dishwasher with laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets provided. We also provide a starter roll of paper towels and toilet paper and a 5 burner propane grill with sear, side burner and spare propane tank so you won't run out of fuel. A rare find is our off street parking and our spacious yard.

Perfect home for a perfect vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our first visit to this property was extremely satisfying, so much so that we have chosen to return next year. We found it to be very clean, charming and equipped with very comfortable furnishings. The owners provided everything one would need, from food preparation to cleaning supplies. Bicycles, beach chairs and a beach umbrella were also available. It's proximity to the beach - one block away - could not be beat. One of the best features of renting this house was the ready availability and helpfulness of the owners, who were there if you needed them should a problem arise. A big plus was the fact that we could take our small dog along. We loved this home and Cape May - it was the perfect vacation.

While we were there we enjoyed shopping at Washington Square Mall, having a wonderful meal at the Lobster House, attending the moving flag ceremony at Sunset Beach at sunset, and of course, the beautiful beaches. We highly recommend this home.

...As If the Owner Read Our Minds - Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

If you have an opportunity to stay in any property rented by Kevin Soler, do it! The cottage we stayed in was comfortable, clean and had everything that we needed. We met Kevin and Debbie who are both warm and delightful. The street is phenomenal and quiet. We met some very nice people. The easy access to the beach and restaurants made this vacation even more relaxing. I will definitely rent this property again.

Highly Recommended!

  • 5 of 5

Our first stay at the cottage and our first experience overall with renting a single family home. We were extremely comfortable and felt right at home during our two week stay. It exceeded my expectations for cleanliness as well as amenities! Wow, bikes and beach equipment provided? Even a cart, an umbrella and beach blankets. No wonder Kevin's properties fill up so quickly! We brought our Westie and loved having the peace of mind with her with us and not in a kennel or alone at home. We'll be back next year. Thank you, Kevin and Debbie, for sharing the cottage with us. Loved it!

Glorious!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second year staying at this cottage in Cape May. It is the perfect size for a family of six. There is plenty of room to cook and eat together and the kitchen is well stocked with all you would need to make family meals. The bikes that are included in the rental were in good condition and we enjoyed biking to Washington Square Mall and to the beach to watch the sunset.

This cottage is exactly as described and is quite comfortable and close to everything. If we needed anything Kevin was just a phone call away to take care of us. The weather was great, but even if it rained all week, we would have enjoyed our trip. We already booked for next year and I would certainly recommend this cottage to friends and family planning a visit to Cape May.

Our favorite Place to stay in Cape May

  • 5 of 5

Yet another great week in Cape May on New Jersey Ave!

This was probably our 4th or 5th year in a row we have stayed in the little yellow cottage and we love it every time. Kevin each year makes sure he updates things and has everything in working order. We noticed new bedding, new curtains, freshly stained deck and 2 new rugs on the front deck this year, looks great!

The bikes were used daily, riding to the shops or just sightseeing.

Ate at several of our favorite restaraunts such as Peter Shields Inn, The Magnolia Room, and Big Wave Burrito which has the best smoothies around! The fireworks were fantastic on the beach on July 4th. Enjoyed pizza on the beach one evening and a sunset at the point. Looking forward to next year's visit already. Thanks Kevin!
