We loved our stay at the property!

very clean somewhat secluded close to attractions
The view was amazing! My son enjoyed the pool table and foosball table- great place to stay close to Chattanooga attractions. Would highly recommend.
LOG CABIN WITH A VIEW
I am writing this to inform people so they are not surprised and disappointed when they get inside the cabin. The couch is broken/the back support board that runs along the top of the couch is bent out and uncomfortable. I wish I could explain better. I'll put it this way...it is like a frat house as it looks nice when you enter and then you realize all of the comforts of the home are trashed. For $80 a night it would be explainable. So the couch and love seat need to be replaced as they are a matching set. The dishwasher was never installed and falls in and out of the hole when you open and close it and that is only two screws. A light bulb is missing to the left of the sink which is typical maintenance. Not blown out but missing. The pilot light to the fireplace needs to be replaced as it is worn out and we had to call the owner to have him send someone out to light it and I am familiar with fireplaces so the way it is suppose to work it doesn't. There are no hangers and the dresser in the master closet is full of linens except one drawer. Living out of your suitcase is unacceptable. The mirror in the master bathroom is only good for people 5'8" or less and is very uncomfortable for people at my height of 6'2". A light bulb on the master bedroom side of the deck is out and a night it is very dark on the deck and not comfortable for children as they are afraid of the dark so we couldn't enjoy the opportunity to look at the stars. A flagstone at the top of the steps has broken lose of the mortar and needs to be reset. The table is nice to sit at on the deck until it leaves rust stains on your shirt and needs to be replaced. The couch in the television room feels like the springs are poking through and the beanbags are empty. All in all the entire place needs a facelift in furniture. We weren't looking for perfect but we sure weren't expecting a flop down after six beers so that you don't notice the discomfort of it dwelling. The view was amazing and if David would make these necessary changes it would be worth the amount he is asking. I would have discussed this with him but felt he already is aware of the condition and has chosen to disregard what needs to be done and so I wrote this to warn others instead of sweeping it under the rug and I also am a believer in Jesus Christ and hope this letter changes his heart to correct all of the items ive mentioned and make an experience a good memory for others.
This is really quite an unbelievable review. This guest reached out to me one time during their stay about the pilot light not being lit in the fireplace. I tried to walk him through relighting it and then sent our maintenance person over within the hour to relight. Our cleaner waited in the driveway for over an hour after checkout time for Tony and his family to leave. We will address all legitimate repair items promptly and ask future guests to please consider the rest of our reviews when considering a stay with us.
Minutes from everything Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga have to offer. Hang gliding, Cloudland Canyon State Park, Canyon Grill are within 10 minutes of the cabin. Chattanooga's aquarium, riverfront, Ruby Falls, and Rock City are all within 30 minutes of the cabin. A short drive from Atlanta or Chattanooga make this a great getaway.
