Charming and very special
We loved our stay
Our privacy was respected and we were well catered for.
Great hosts.
Awesome holiday
My sister and I are from North Queensland and stayed at the cottage for 8 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The cottage was very comfortable, set on a beautiful property with everything we needed for our stay. It was such a joy being able to have family come visit and be able to cook for them. Peter and John were quick to help with any request and made our stay that little more special. Thanks again for a wonderful time. Lou and Celie
Bed & Breakfast
The continental breakfast cereals we had to choose from was out of date, some packets were open also the jams had been used before. Yes it is an old place but it was dirty. The best part about our stay was the view
We are sorry you found things not to your liking, we were present during your stay & as you did not say anything to us we were unaware that you were not happy, so could not offer solutions to improve your stay.. We have used IXL jams in glass jars for 8 years & this is the first complaint we have had. Checking the cereal packets we could find none open.
Absolutely Beautiful
my family and I stayed here over the ANZAC long weekend and cannot stop thinking about Hermitage. The property is vast with lots of walking and farm experiences. The cottage is delightful and my boys absolutely loved the fireplace. Thank you John and Peter for your kindness and hospitality. As a family it was a well earned break from Sydney and we will be back to hear those amazing bellbirds.
It was a pleasure to have you stay & the boys were delightfull, full of energy & curosity. Thank you for leaving the cottage spotless.
A beautiful city escape
We just spent the ANZAC long weekend at Hermitage and what a magical escape it was. Thank you to our hosts John and Peter for their hospitality and for sharing the wonderful history of the property. Our sons thoroughly loved the farm and especially the opportunity to enjoy a fireplace. Comfortable accommodation and well equiped for a family get away.
Magic!
Enjoyed the serenity, the small touches owners supplied like fresh eggs, and the bed was heaven. This a charming little cottage with views for miles. Loved it!
Happy you enjoyed the serenity yet only 1hr from the noise of Sydney.
