great large house

  • 5 of 5

a beautiful area, short drive to nice beaches and bushwalks. The house is great, set in bush and short walk to lake (not a beach there but can still swim). Lots of mozzies. Kitchen and equipment all modern with 2 fireplaces.

Owner's Response: Thanks Andy for your review. With high rainfall the lake level was up during your stay and great for swimming! Through out most of the year there is a sandy beach below the house with lovely sun & shade areas for you to lazy in the sun loungers. Yes the mozzies have been in their element this year with all the rain! ...now disappearing with the cooler weather! I just want to clarify that we do not have fireplaces but a BBQ on the deck overlooking the lake ...and electric heating that keeps the house warm & cosy in winter.

Great Spot

  • 5 of 5

We had the most fantastic time at On the edge - Smiths Lake. With two families 10 people in total, the accomodation was perfect with plenty of opportunities for families to mix and break from each other. The location was amazing and having the kayaks and life jackets available for use was so much fun. Would highly recommend On the edge as a great place to stay. Thanks so much!

Ah may zing!

Simply perfect. For a spontaneous weekend away - this was perfect! Kayaks and a tinny on the waters edge for paddling to breakfast at the cafe around the corner. Games and DVD's Galore for those fun competitive evenings with friends. Well heated for the colder months. This place has been well thought out and it shows. Simply perfect.

Fantastic Place!

  • 5 of 5

Great place for a family holiday, house was better than pictures and description, loads of room and inclusions. Kayaks and board games were a big bonus and we put them to good use. Easy trip into Forster and to loads of great local beaches. None of us wanted to leave!
