Surf, swim and walk or jog on the beach from this coastal retreat in the harbor town of Oceanside. This is a one bedroom, one bath and is fully furnished with all amenities cable, Internet, phone and free laundry room. You can wake to the sound of the surf and have breakfast overlooking the blue Pacific. The unit is walking distance to the pier, harbor, shopping and dining with freeway and transit service minutes away. Local attractions such as Legoland, Zoo and Sea World are within 30 minutes from this 'Cottage by the Sea' Stay a week or a month and 'Make the most of the Coast'.

The views are magnificent!!

Great little place!

We loved our stay here. We are just packing up as I write this, and enjoying our last beautiful view of the Pacific. The location is ideal, and the place is so cute! Our old backs would LOVE a firmer mattress in the bedroom, but that was our only problem. When we opted for one of the futons in the living room, all we had to do was mention it to Patrick, and there were the sheets! We loved the sounds of the ocean ... we'll miss it! Hope to be back sometime soon!

Fantastic time - repeat visit. Would come again.

This is our second time to this same property. Eric is a great owner and Patrick is super. One of the last little beach huts here in Oceanside...this place is great. Right on the beach you can open up the window and listen to the waves crash. See Sea Lions up by the boat docks and enjoy some great restaurants. Wonderful time...very relaxing. The time to leave always comes too soon.

Love coming back Eric's Beachfront Apartment!!

We have been coming to Eric's Unit #A for the past 4-5 years. Typically about 3-4 times a year. Our adult sons and their girlfriends live in North County and one lives just down the street.

We have stayed at various Vacation Rentals in the area but found that Eric's Unit #A is the best for us. It's just a regular place at a good price. Not a 5 star hotel. But a reasonable place at a very good price. (Eric keeps his prices competitive - so that it's always a good value).

We love sitting out on the deck watching and listening to the ocean. Since it's a lg. 1 bedroom apartment, there's plenty of room for our sons and their girlfriends to come over. Sometimes they stay over on the fold down futons.

Since we typically have work to do, we appreciate that Eric provides excellent WI-FI Internet. Apparently he use to travel quite bit so that he knows the value of good Internet.

This property is beachfront and it sit's facing the access road and then the rock sea wall. The ramp down to the beach is just about 100 feet north.

Since the time that we started staying here, everything has been as advertised. No surprises. If we needed anything, Arlene and Patrick are on the property on a regular basis and they can get us whatever we need. Arlene and Patrick are the folks that take care of this 3-unit property.

We regularly recommend Eric's place to our friends and relatives who are looking for a beachfront vacation and they all have reported back to us, "Good Choice!!"

Thanks to Eric and his team for everything that you folks do to make our stay easy and enjoyable!!

Perfect fit for our family!

We had a wonderful vacation staying here. It was our first time we have ever rented a home to stay in. We we're a bit nervous not knowing what we were getting into but the outcome was worth it! This house fit our every need and it was perfectly placed on the beach so we could come and go as we wanted to. There were lots of little shops and places within walking distance that we visited also that made our stay even better. I would definitely recommend staying here not only because its a great way to vacation, but because it is the only way to vacation! Eric the Owner and Patrick the manager we're great to work with and answered every question we had. It really helped knowing there was someone who could answer our questions right then. Thanks from our family for a great place to stay, and for a great vacation for our first time to the beach!

Not fancy but worth the money

30 years ago we paid $900/week for a place like this. Now it's up to $1,300, but everything else has also gone up in price. The bed could be better but the 2 futons are great for sleeping, not so much so for sitting. Aside from a dead light bulb or two, everything works. The view is pretty good. It was great to be able to bring our two puppies - saved us $400 to $500 in boarding costs. I left some Astro Turf out front for an easy to clean pee and poop place. Not as much street noise as down on The Strand. What you hear mostly is the pounding surf. None of the outside gates had latches that worked, but Eric will probably be fixing those soon. It was great to have even a little yard where the dogs could run, and there's a great dog park by the Humane Society about 10 minutes away. All in all, this is a relaxing beach cottage. We come to relax. If you want elegant and fancy, go next door for $3,000 a week. I prefer this place.

Love this place, best Value on the Beach

I have know Eric for about 30 years, since he showed upon in Oceanside. My wife and I have stayed in both his Unit #A and we used to live in his Beachfront Cottage.

We love coming back to Oceanside and staying in Eric's Unit #A!! It's the best value on the beach!!!!!!

We used to stay at North Coast Village - but we found that we like Eric's Unit #A better. It's closer to the beach and far more intimate that the large complex at North Coast Village.

There's plenty of space for the kids and grandkids. Eric has always been very accommodating. There are few more pleasant experiences than sitting on the Balcony of Unit #A, looking at the setting sun over the ocean, feeling the cool off shore wind.

Although this is an older property both the property and the furnishings are well taken care of by his maintenance team Arlene and Patrick. Having the doors with the electronic locks is a great step forward for check-ins and check-outs. Eliminates the need for keys and losing keys.

We look forward to coming back to Eric's Unit #A for as long as he has this property.
