About the property

The Sand Chook is a two-storey townhouse with a coastal look on the outside and spacious comfort on the inside. There are three bedrooms and two living areas that can comfortably sleep 8 adults. Our property is beautifully presented and well equipped with games, DVDs and books to help make your holiday on the Surf Coast a memorable one.

GROUND FLOOR,

Two large bedrooms, one with queen-size bed, the other with double/single bunk, large living room with two fold-down s/bed couches, TV & DVD, bathroom, separate toilet, laundry, remote double garage with internal access, outside entertaining and BBQ area, outdoor shower for washing off the sand and salt after a trip to the beach.

FIRST FLOOR;

Main bedroom has queen-size bed, TV, private balcony, ensuite with large oval spa, and separate toilet/powder room. The main open-plan living and dining area has doors on two sides opening out to the main balcony which has plenty of room for entertaining with views over Jan Juc township. To keep you entertained, there is a wide screen TV, DVD/VCR, and mini stereo. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with 900mm oven, stainless steel appliances, stone bench tops and a well-stocked pantry. Both levels have ducted central heating and air conditioning.

The Sand Chook is located a 5 minute drive from all surf shops and factory outlets, Bells Beach, Torquay and Jan Juc beaches and is within 15 mins of five of Victoria's best golf courses. (Barwon Heads, 13th Beach, The Sands, Torquay and Anglesea). The patrolled Jan Juc surf beach is a 15-20 minute walk from the house, as is the Beach Hotel and the popular Swell cafe, both situated in the Jan Juc village.

Clean, Cozy and Well Furnished

Thank you Barbara and Graeme for sharing your lovely property. It is clean, homey and has everything we needed and more. There were DVDs, Books and Games that entertained us during our stay. Its on the quiet part of Jan Juc so there were not much traffic going through the street but still a close drive to the beach and Torquay shops. The centralized A/C was a big bonus to have all rooms comfy during the night. We would definitely come back and stay here in the future.

Warm, welcoming and homely

A very comfortable 2 storey unit with plenty of space inside and a small, but dog friendly outdoor courtyard.

Obviously the owner's own property and not just an investment rental, this home includes all the personal touches and appliances you would want for yourself. Great kitchen. Even a well-stocked stores pantry and some gourmet coffee and teas!

This home is a must for anyone with a love of surfing - you'll struggle to actually get to the beach after taking in the décor, DVD's, books etc.

Nice quiet street and pretty close to everything.

Looking forward to a return visit...

Wonderful house

Such a lovely house close to beaches, golf courses and walking tracks.

We enjoyed a long weekend here and will certainly bookmark for next time we are down this way.

Very presentable, clean and with great kitchen to cook in with modern appliances and plenty of plates, pots and pans.

BBQ area outside looks like a great place to spend an afternoon, as was the upstairs family room and balconies, where we spent our time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sand Chook. There was plenty of room for the teenagers to have their own space, while we relaxed in peace. We also enjoyed the living area and backyard for some quality time together. I would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing stay!

The property is beautiful on the inside and outside. It was extremely spacious, with lots of little extras that can accommodate for everybody (three TVs in case we fight over channels, a selection of DVDs, an assortment of board games etc) and the spa was clean and powerful. The kitchen and furnishings felt new and the decor really gave off a beach holiday house vibe. We had an amazing weekend.
