The property is over 2 private acres and if you have children, they will love the freedom to roam and explore. You will love the perennials and natural New Hampshire flora. Deer can be seen on the property in the early morning along with other wildlife. This is 100% grade A New Hampshire.
The house has been completely renovated since it was purchased five years ago. It has 2 bedrooms, renovated kitchen, renovated bath, living room and separate dining area. Kitchen and dining areas have new wide pine floors.
An oversized, screened-in porch, which will accommodate several people for dining. And after that long day of swimming and your big long dinner, jump right into your private hot tub.

We love the lake in New Hampshire. Great weather, warm weather and lots of outdoor activities. We wanted our son to experience the outdoors. Suncook Lake is much quieter than Lake Winnipesaukee but has all the benefits without the crowds.
The lake! Swimming, watersking, kayaking, fishing and playing on the beach. The property also has acres of grass for soccer, baseball etc...
The size of the property ensures privacy for guests.
Beautiful! As advertised. Private, lots of space to run our dogs and for the kids to play.
Secluded, well kept property with plenty of space. Wife and I and our 2 dogs had a most relaxing long weekend here. Brought my own little fishing boat. Docks are sturdy and well placed. House has all the amenities-(felt like home having a Keureg)-gas grill, big screen HD tv, pre-cut and seasoned wood onsite for fires. Caretaker across street couldn't have been nicer-did not need them-but was comforting knowing they would be available and approachable if we did. Smooth transactions with owner, good communication. Will return if we can get away again. Dogs loved it!!, lots of room to run!
What a wonderful spot! I don't think i could find another rental to match the lakefront of this property, at least not in my price range. It was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. It was good to see our little urban dog not on a leash as she ran across the yard - she was like a kid at Disney World! While I am used to more amenities (two bathrooms, washer & dryer, etc.), I reminded myself that this was a rustic vacation and the house has more amenities than a camp site and I settled in to enjoy the week. The owner's family across the road were quite helpful. There were days we didn't want to leave the property because we enjoyed the lakefront so much. Highly recommend this rental.
We had a great time at Cape on the Lake. The location was perfect away from the traffic of Lake Winnipesaukee but close enough that you could be there in about 30 minutes. We would definitely be interested in returning for another trip.
My husband and I honeymooned here in October of '13. Was delightfully secluded, comfortable, close enough to groceries and restaurants, and well priced. We can't wait to be able to come back again!
The Cape on the Lake is a home my family and I have returned to again and again. Set on a large property, there is plenty of room for children to run around and play. The lake is beautifully serene and wonderful for swimming, boating or sitting next to it on the dock or fire pit area when just looking to unwind and relax. They will consider pets, which is a huge plus for us! Our fuzzy family members enjoy it as much as we do. The hot tub is a huge benefit, overlooking picturesque Suncook Lake. The cabin is cozy and includes modern conveniences such as a Keurig and Wifi. Town is not too far off and there are lots of little great spots to take a day trip if you choose to leave the property (you might not ;) ) I highly recommend this location for your next family vacation!
This vacation rental is perfect in so many ways. It is undoubtedly situated on the best piece of real estate on the lake. The property juts out a bit, so you have more than 180 degree water views. The property is private and large enough for lots of great playing – whether with your children or your dogs. The screened porch is the perfect spot for relaxing while listening to the loons. I did not use the hot tub, but with the lake view, it seems like it would be very romantic place to relax with your loved one. It is an easy drive to the Seacoast or the White Mountains, with so much to see and do in between. Mike and Kathy are both excellent communicators and made my stay well worth the 10-hour trip to get there. My dogs loved swimming in the lake and running in the yard, and I love that my dogs were so welcome. There is no doubt, I will be back.
Lake, swimming, privacy, hiking, boating, fishing, water skiing, kayaking, boating.
