great dog friendly option
Tidy rooms and bathroom, neat kitchen and lovely balcony. everything you need for a relaxing time away with a dog. Close to dog friendly beaches and walks.
Old but comfortable.
Spacious two bedroom cottage. Yes it is old, but it is clean and comfortable. We only needed to be in Nambucca for a couple of days and this place met our needs nicely.
Cheap and basic
Old, run down, dog friendly accommodation near the beach. The backyard is over grown jungle with steep stairs to access it - not safe for people or pets
Nice spot, needs a facelift but otherwise clean & tidy
Doesn’t have a bath or bucket for shower for small children. Shower recess is tin & is a little dangerous for small kids as it has exposed edges of rusty tin at base.
It’s not exactly dog friendly as to get to backyard you have to go through balcony gate & down very steep overgrown stairs to a very overgrown steep backyard.
Old smelly run down and not worth the money
I arrived at night and was so disappointed. I left early the next morning despite paying for 2 nights. I chose this place as i could bring the dog, but the back yard was so overgrown and full of rusted, falling apart furniture (in the overgrowth) i couldn’t allow our dog out there in case he got hurt. The steps in the backyard were eroded away and rusted reinforcing iron rods were sticking up out of the steps, so it was totally unsafe for my children. The grassy area in the backyard is small and although it exists, I wasn’t prepared to let my dog wander through the undergrowth and potentially get ticks or bitten by a snake - that’s how bad it was! The photo on the website of the shower is not accurate - the bottom of the shower walls is so rusted that there is no wall remaining to attach to the floor! The master bed was so old and used that even when made, I could see the sunken spots where bodies had lay on the mattress. The pillows felt as though hadn’t been replaced in 20 years. The single bed had hair on the bottom fitted sheet, so after laying out the top fitted sheet, it was discovered the the bedspread had sand falling out of it. The other single bed was very saggy. The bedrooms smelled very old and dusty, as if the carpets hadn’t been cleaned in 10 years. The sheets didn’t match and were thin and pilling. The place is run down, looks like a bad relic from the 1970s and not in a cute cottage sort of way, and needs to be demolished and was actually up for sale. Disgusted. I didn’t even mind parking out on the street but the smell inside was enough for me to leave. Please don’t waste money staying here.
Good points: flushing toilet, fridge, hot shower, tv and lounge room.
Cute little cottage and all that we needed. Owners were very accommodating
It is older but simple and very beach hut type accomodation. Just what we like and needed for sometime away and with family. Leah is gorgeous and very lovely to deal with. Hopefully she thinks the same. Would definitely recommend staying here although not for younger kiddos due to steep stairs etc...the pooch loved exploring the garden and I’m sure he buried some bones there for others to enjoy!😂
