Mio Monte is an ideal couples retreat for those searching for something a little special.
The house has been stylishly decorated in warm tones giving it a contemporary and inviting feel. The large kitchen is fully equipped complete with Nespresso coffee machine and ipod docking station.
The open plan dining and living area opens out through large glass sliding doors onto a wide verandah which overlooks the tennis court and the neighbouring vineyards.
As you watch the sun set in the distance you can light the large open fire and settle back to read or watch the flatscreen TV (connected to Austar).
Upstairs is the massive loft style bedroom with King bed and a joining library/sitting room. The views from the bedroom stretch across the dam, orchard and green fields beyond.
This is no ordinary weekender, many little touches and great attention to detail make Mio Monte a place you will love to be and a place you will want to return to.
Located in Broke - the "Polkolbin of Old", Mio Monte sits on 16 acres and overlooks 100 acres of vineyards. It offers isolation, and peace and quiet to all who come to enjoy her.
The area of Broke - Fordwich now grows more Hunter grapes than any other area in the region and has loads of great cellar doors to try. It is also only 15 minutes from Pokolbin and 20 minutes to historic Wollombi. A local transport service can be booked to take you to concerts or any restaurant.
To get there turn off the F3 at the Peats Ridge exit and follow the signs through Wollombi to Singleton via Broke. Mio Monte is 30 km from Wollombi township on your right hand side. If you get to the Broke Village Store you have gone too far. Turn around and travel back 2 kms.
