Coral Caye Villa offers beautiful landscaping and gorgeous views overlooking the pool, Caribbean Sea, and palm trees from your own private balcony.
Situated about 4 miles north of San Pedro town, the home is within easy distance of fishing, taking the island ferry into town for shopping and night life or further north up the island to great restaurants and quaint bars. The Villa sits in the middle of 5 private homes faces directly onto the ocean and is surrounded by lush tropical plants and flowers which add to the privacy and serenity of the location.
The main level includes a bright and spacious living area open to the kitchen, dining area and balcony which overlooks the pool and ocean. French doors to the balcony allow you to let in the view and the warm tropical breezes. BBQ up some fresh caught local fish or relax in your own hammock built for two while watching the boat traffic go by and the waves rolling over the barrier reef. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and private en-suite bathroom featuring hand painted his and her sinks and a large walk in shower with spacious closets and storage for all your vacation needs. The guest bedroom also features a king-size bed and master en-suite with shower and his and her sinks. Both bedrooms are located on the lower level and have separate private entrances to the beach level. Simply walk out your door and into the pool or ocean!
Within easy walking distance on the beach there are restaurants, bars and shops. Located directly behind the house is Mata Grande Grocery which can provide you with most everything you’ll need for your stay. Justin and Tami also provide provisioning services so that your groceries and cold Belikin beers can be waiting for you on arrival. A short walk south on the beach takes you to White Sands Dive Shop where Elbert or Lupe can arrange snorkeling and diving excursions for you. Tell them Max and Debi sent you! Slip on your fins and you’ll find beautiful healthy coral and marine life including our resident loggerhead turtles and even a stingray or two!
Our management company, Belize Management, will arrange for your transfers to and from the airport, included in your rental, and can assist you with booking tours and excursions. All that’s left for you is to unpack and relax!
Ambergris Caye has much to offer and we are certain that once you’ve experienced La Isla Bonita you’ll want to come back time and again!

Home for us is in Canada. Originally from Quebec and Ontario we now live in the western part of the country in Vancouver British Columbia. While Vancouver offers great weather and sits on the ocean we spend many cold nights dreaming of getting back to Ambergris Caye and the warm tropical breezes. We both work in the restaurant industry and are avid divers spending every minute we can in the water! We sincerely hope you enjoy your stay at Coral Caye Villa and come back to see us often!
Deborah Gagnon purchased this house in 2009
Having traveled to Belize we fell in love with the people the country and the diving! We then researched the many dive sites surrounding Belize and discovered Ambergris Caye. After two days on the island we were hooked. The gentle nature of the people the beauty of the island and the variety of things to do and see along with the ability to de-stress instantly captured our hearts. From there we decided to look at homes and contacted Chris and Amanda at Sunrise Reality. Chris took us to see the property and when we walked in the door at Coral Caye we knew we were home! We love being in Ambergris, hate to leave it and spend most days wishing we were back! We’re sure you will agree that La Isla Bonita is aptly named and that you will also fall in love with this little tropical island gem in the Caribbean Sea!
We love the people the tranquility and the warm ocean breezes that come through the French doors on the balcony. We enjoy lying in the hammock lazily swinging back and forth while reading; BBQ'ing fresh local fish caught only hours before and the amazing diving and snorkeling right at our doorstep. We’ve made some great new discoveries at the local restaurants and some wonderful new friends on the island as well. A favorite place to go is the Mamba restaurant just north of the house on the beach and also the Rojo.
This property is so nice. The villa is absolutely gorgeous and you are made to feel like your home when you arrive. The management company does a great job of handling picking you up and getting you to the villas. Chris was a wealth of knowledge about things to do and history of the island. David the groundskeeper makes the whole experience worth the trip, he is very helpful and is an asset to the property. He knows great places to go eat and guided us to a great excursion with Under the Sea, not as crowded as other and Noel was a great guide. David keeps the grounds immaculate and the pool pristine. He let us know when the produce guy was coming by, we had no problems with the produce other than it was delicious and so fresh! The location of this villa is perfect, far enough from town to be quiet but not inconvenient. Mata Grande Grocery right in the back was very nice. I could write a book about how this is the perfect location villa for your trip and we have recommended the villa to others from the panhandle so maybe they will go. It is more expensive than some and less than others, but it is the perfect place to stay. So what are you waiting for get your reservation, we are already looking at our next free time to come back.
The home was everything we expected it to be. Great location , very private and tranquil with the ocean just a few hundred feet away.. I would suggest renting a golf cart while you stay in the area to get around to explore and to check out the different restaurants in the area.
I would definetly return or suggest this place to others.
The property was everything it was portrayed as being; a beautiful, well-designed, well-appointed villa surrounded by beautiful, immaculate and tropical grounds. The support personnel (particularly David, the friendly jack-of-all-trades groundskeeper) really added to the experience. Everything went smoothly, from our arrival pickup to golf cart rental to snorkeling expeditions to our departure transport thanks to the staff.
Come prepared to relax, escape and watch your blood pressure drop as you experience the laid back friendly island.
Coral Caye is about 4 1/2 miles north of town and away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. While there are restaurants within easy walking distance (along the sandy beach) and a small grocery store within a stone's throw, unless you plan on just staying put and vegging out, a golf cart is a must.
I would recommend going to town and trying some of the local cuisine. El Fagon and Wugaruma were outstanding San Pedro dining experiences. Or go north 4 or so miles to the "chat and chill" for a great tropical setting (on the beach) where you can enjoy the pleasant Caribbean breezes and great tropical drinks and snacks. And be sure to take advantage of Mario's bicycle delivery every morning of tamales and burritos. No sense cooking if you don't want to.
So two thumbs up from us.
From start to finish the whole process was amazing!!
From our first inquiry to last minute changes it was all dealt with accordingly.
There were 6 of us who could not come up with one complaint! That speaks volumes!
To the owners THANK YOU for sharing paradise! The villa was perfect!
To Brittany THANK YOU for handling everything perfectly!
To David the groundskeeper, you are wonderful! You kept the grounds just beautiful! My friends loved the pictures of the flowers!
To the housekeeping staff who took such good care of us, THANK YOU!
We did a snorkeling trip with Genie from Coral divers who was knowledgeable, kind, & caring with all of us. You can do as much or as little as you want.
Already missing it! DO NOT hesitate to book it! Hubby says he wants to go back!
We stayed here for 5 nights and it was fantastic! The pictures are exactly as the property is in person. David was very sweet and helpful. It's on a nice stretch of beach and walking distance to several bars and places to eat. We would most definitely stay here again!
