Come to where Mother Nature waved her magical wand and created one of the most natural of all wonders, Natural Hot Mineral Waters. Heated deep within the earth, these crystal clear carbonated waters are world famous for their mineral content and legendary healing powers. You can reserve a hot tub to enjoy these waters while staying at Sherwood.

We've always loved the mountains and Hot Springs is a delightful little village, with great restaurants, interesting local shops and literally on the Appalachian Trail. The French Broad River is an added boost, with fly-fishing, rafting and swimming and just plain relaxing.
Over the past few months we have replaced the interior window treatments, added window screens, replaced and added several pieces of furniture, added chairs and a hammock to the fit pit area, upgraded the landscaping (an ongoing effort!), upgraded kitchen cookware and utensils, upgraded the gas fire place, added games, books and magazines to enhance the cabin experience and added a phone for our guests' use.
Ann Harold, French Broad Real Estate Company purchased this cabin in 2014
Sherwood Cabin has been a Hot Springs favorite, especially for those who want the convenience of being close to town but also want privacy.
Sherwood has all the amenities you need - she is quaint, comfortable, close to Hot Springs and truly a retreat get-away. It is the best place to re-connect, re-energize, re-group and reflex - all while having a wonderful time!
Really enjoyed my stay at your cabin! Quiet, clean, beautifully furnished, and did I mentioned QUIET? Close enough to town to visit the local community and had the best omelet I have ever had at the local diner on Main Street. It had everything I needed and more-wish I could have stayed longer.
Beautiful views! Cozy cabin! Perfect t for a few days away from screens and news.
Road up is a little steep. Most folks probably wouldn't be phased, but this city girl had a little panic attack on the way up. We made it and all was well! I will stay in the cabin again.
We enjoyed are stay. Cottage was well stocked and clean. Enjoyed exploring near by towns, shops, restaurants, etc. We will hopefully return soon.
I really enjoyed our stay at the Sherwood Cabin. It was close to Hot Springs but gave the impression of being far away in the woods. It was very quiet and peaceful and we even got to see a couple of deer in the field next to the cabin. The only negative comment I would have it that the interior of the cabin could be a little cleaner. Everything just needed a good dusting.
The cabin is very cute and had everything we needed for a week of relaxation and reading. The area is beautiful, cabin location was remote, and views from the deck were wonderful every morning. Spirit trail can be reached by a short walk down the driveway and was a great little hike to the river. Lovers leap trail off the AT in town was also a great hike. The driveway is quite steep in places with sharp switchbacks.... glad we had all wheel drive!
