Aloha! We would like to welcome you to our little piece of paradise on the Big Island of Hawaii on the South Kohala/Kona Coast. A 20 minute drive north from the Kona airport, the South Kohala area is upscale and close to some of the islands most beautiful white sand beaches. Popular Hapuna Bay and Kekaha Kai State Park is only about 10 minutes by car.
Our 2 bedroom, 2 Bathroom condo has just been updated with new kitchen, flooring and furniture. Everything sparkles with new upscale furnishings, luxurious king size bed in master, luxurious queen in second bedroom, stainless steel appliances and pull-out queen sofa bed in living room.
Vista Waikoloa is in the beachfront resort area of South Kohala. Two professional-level golf courses and interesting shops within walking distance.

We are a family from British Columbia, Canada and have enjoyed spending vacations in Hawaii over the last few years.
We have travelled to some of the other islands in Hawaii, and found the Big Island to have the most to offer. We love the peaceful relaxing environment , and the wide range of activites and wonderful beaches.
One day we hope to spend several months of the year in Hawaii when we retire. We want to share with you, our guest, our future retirement home in beautiful Hawaii.

We chose our condo in this location because of the proximity to some of the best beaches on the Big Island. We also like the upscale feel of the Waikoloa area.
Reg and the boys are avid snorkelers and we really enjoy exploring the vivid underwater life that the west coast of Big Island has to offer.
This condo is also within walking distance of the Kings & Queens shopping area, with restaurants and shops so once there, you don't really have to drive anywhere.
However, there are so many great places to see on Big Island, you will probably want to rent a car anyways. Where else can you go to see a real, live active volcano! A must see for geology buffs!
We very carefully selected our condo after researching and visiting most of the complexes on the west coast of Big Island.
The Vista Waikoloa resort is one of the best constructed buildings with very pleasing architecture and beautiful manicured grounds. It has one of the best pools on the island (heated and salt water = no chlorine and easy on the eyes).
Our ground floor unit has a very large, peaceful lanai which is very close to the pool. You can walk from the lanai to the pool in seconds without stairs or elevators. Great for kids coming and going to the pool. The pool and hot tub area is very quiet, and at times you have these places to yourself.
One of the other reasons we selected this unit was for the expansive windows, floor to ceiling on two walls. The condo is very bright, with plenty of sunlight, but still cool to be very comfortable. Our condo is properly oriented to have the gentle breeze flow through in the afternoons and evenings.
It is wonderful to hear that your family had such a good time on Island. It is our hope that at the end of an amazing day you can come home, relax and enjoy the amenities at the Vistas. We would love to have return and create new memories.

This is an extremely well located, ground floor property in a gated community, with immediate access to heated fresh water pool and close to the best beaches on the island. Extremely well equipped with quality furnishings and amenities. Very clean,peaceful comfortable and beautiful. An excellent place for quiet and relaxation while visiting the island. The owners are very good to deal with, quickly responsive to any inquiries.. Recommend having a car-Would definitely come back.
We loved this condo with the beautiful cool floors and gorgeous large bathroom with a walk in rain shower. The kitchen is all new and very well equipped.Our favorite feature was the lanai. We sat out there much of the time to watch the birds and palm trees while we had meals. The pool is steps away and big enough to swim laps. Everything is close by.The King's shops and shady walks to take along the waterfalls to the golf course. Perfect stay and will come back for certain!
This two bedroom is huge! We had 5 adults and one baby and all fit in very nicely. Reg's apartment is so spacious, right next to the pool and on the ground floor. If you are looking for sandy beaches to take children too, there are several within a 20 min drive. We loved staying here and would come again!!!
Reg and Sue have updated their condo beautifully. It is simple, elegant, nicely appointed and well-supplied. The location on the ground floor near the pool was perfect for us and the unit receives the morning through evening sunlight. Vista Waikoloa is well-landscaped and maintained and is a 10 minute stroll to the ocean.
We appreciated the amenities of home at this condo: beach chairs and beach towels, water bottles, plenty of dishes and cookware, spices and condiments, cleaning supplies and paper products, books for a good read....it made it a much more comfortable stay. The condo was clean and the air conditioning worked well for when we needed it. It was a nice base for exploring the Big Island.
This is one of the nicest condos we have ever stayed in. Nothing has been forgotten in this lovely kitchen. All the toys you ever wanted for the beach; Hapuna Beach and Beach 69 are about 15 minutes away. The beach in front of the Marriott lets you rent even more toys for the day, and it is an easy walk. Steps to the pool, which some days we had to ourselves. The shops are close, and great golf is close by. Thank you for sharing your Hawaiian home with us.
