We enjoyed our stay because there was plenty of room to eat, sleep, and play. The owner's daughter delivered a microwave after we left a message that it wasn't working. We have stayed at other cabins around the country so some things we missed here were a picnic table and a bigger grill outside and a living room with sofas and comfortable chairs. The game room had only a small sofa. We bought table tennis paddles and balls because none were in the lodge. I was disappointed that there weren't many pots, pans, or microwaveable dishes in the kitchen. I did love being close to the marina and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit!
This is our second year staying at this rental and it was just as good this year as last year.we all enjoyed it because we all could stay together. The game room was a big hit again this year.we tried out the restaurant beside the rental and it was very good,we also took in the indian rock cave hiking trail and it was very good.we meet the owners on our last day and they are very friendly. We plan on making this a yearly trip because of all the things to do in the area.
this was our second year to rent this vacation rental and we enjoyed it just as much this year as last year. The game room was a big hit with all again.we hike the indian rock cave trail and it was well worth it.we also enjoyed the lake especially since it was just down the road.the restaurant beside the rental was very good also.I got to meet the owners and they were very good people and were helpful friendly.we will be staying at this rental again next year hopefully.
This was our second year for staying at this rental, and like last year we were very pleased with the rental. The whole family again was very pleased with the fact that we could all stay at the same facility. The game room was a big hit again this year.We tried out some of the hiking trails and enjoyed the lake because it is just down the road.We have all decided that we will again rent this rental again next year
I brought a number of college students for a weekend retreat. The property was clean and well put together. Lynette was extremely helpful, and the students had a great time playing ping pong, walking to the lake, and building a bonfire in the fire put. Highly recommended!
our first stay at this vacation rental, but it wont be our last we had a full house and everyone was very pleased with it,because we all got to stay in the same building and shared each others company and we all enjoyed the game room, including the adults.the lake was just a short distance and the hiking trail was just across the street.a very good restaurant right beside it.the retreat was just as described.there was also a very good fireworks display on the 4th.we are planning on renting this mountain rental again next year.
