Beautifully appointed apartment with all the comforts of home. You'll have a private entrance and balcony overlooking our beautiful garden and courtyard. Comfortable, cozy, quiet and private.
My husband and I stayed here back in May 2015. I'm sorry I haven't reviewed sooner. Absolutely loved everything about this place. Paul and Lynn were amazing. So friendly and helpful. We had to split our time here and they stored some of our belongings while we went to New York. Everything was clean and felt really like an extension of our own home. Thanks so much. We reminisce often about our amazing time in Cambridge.
My husband and I enjoyed our recent visit to Boston as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Our stay was made especially enjoyable because of the "home base" we found at 69 Thorndike. The apartment was exactly as advertised, including its convenient location to train and bus stations that allowed us easy access to many points of interest in Cambridge, Boston, and surrounding areas. Paul was a gracious host who met us upon arrival where he shared with us the amenities of the apartment as well as restaurants in the area. Although we did not cook during our 7 night stay, we did enjoy the fully stocked kitchen when we brought home great pizza from Za one evening, made our morning coffee, enjoyed a late afternoon wine and cheese break (wine courtesy of our thoughtful hosts), and indulged in a late night snack of Boston Creme Pie! The apartment offered us a great amount of space and very comfortable furnishings in a beautifully decorated, very clean and well-kept setting. It was a pleasure returning to this welcoming place every evening. We highly recommend a stay at 69 Thorndike; my husband and I look forward to a return visit the next time we are in the Boston area!
Génial! Bien équipé. Très beau quartier. À deux pas du métro et du bus! De quoi bien profiter de Boston!
We spent a little over a week visiting Boston for the Red Sox home opener.. We have normally stayed in Boston, but decided to branch out and stay in Cambridge this time, and we are extremely happy we did. The apartment is extremely comfortable, tastefully updated and clean. While we spent most of our time travelling in Boston and to the Capes, there were days where we just stayed in and spent few hours playing cards. Paul and Lynne did a fantastic job making you feel like you are "home" rather than staying in a hotel.
Location, Location, Location!!! I can not express how much I love the location and convenience of this home. We rented a car for a few days to travel outside of Boston to the Capes/Martha's Vineyard. The off-street parking at the home was a phenomenal benefit for someone who knows how tough and expensive parking can be in a large city. Easy access to the highways were also a plus. We have been coming to Boston for a few years, and we always just pay the 7-day link pass for the T (Subway) and hop on and off all week. With subway station a few blocks away, it made it extremely easy to get into Boston for baseball games, shopping, and restaurants. Short and beautiful walks to a mall, market, restaurants and cafe's in Cambridge as well. (Must try the East Side Bar and Grill!)
Paul & Lynne were kind, fantastic hosts and we enjoyed meeting them. We were out of the apartment so much, that we did not cross paths often, but I definitely plan to make my next stay here as well, and am looking forward to getting to know them a little better.
Thank you Paul and Lynne for a fantastic week.

We had an enjoyable stay in this clean apartment with large bedroom and well-equipped eat-in kitchen. Paul is a great host and the apartment is convenient to both green line and red line. Be sure to stop at Tatte bakery for a treat.
Wonderful hosts, spacious and welcoming apartment, would definitely visit again!
