A purpose-built B&B & art gallery/studio opposite Cromarty Bay Road tree-lined beachfront reserve at Soldiers Point, Port your'll discover the quiet part of the 'Bay', as well as Australia's renowned blue-water wonderland & dolphin/whale watch capital, all just a 2 hour easy drive north of Sydney, NSW.
Refurbished July 2017 Bayviews is still consistently ranked in the regions "TOP 10 B&B's" and continues to offer 4 star accommodation for up to 4 guests, with two queen size bedrooms, two private bathrooms and breakfast/lounge room, all with polished timber floors and fans throughout a smoke-free interior. Guests can enjoy relaxing outdoors in tropical landscaped surroundings, with parkland all around and Cromarty Bay right across the no passing road traffic... just peace and quiet... yet the property is still just minutes to all the regions attractions, beaches, shops & amenities...
Bayviews is one of the few B&B's that still accept one night bookings (without a two night penalty)....Our tariff of $90 per room per night, (including private bathroom, continental breakfast, off-road parking & all charges) remains the same great value as per our December '02 opening. We're not really suitable for children under teen years, however, we can accommodate families/groups (up to 4) travelling together, wanting short and longer-term holiday stays...
Cromarty Bay Road, Soldiers Point, is regarded as the 'quiet' part of the "Bay" and certainly not affected by the hustle and bustle of Christmas, Easter, and other holiday periods... With tree-lined beachfront reserve right across the road, (great fishing) and national park-lands either side..Bayviews also makes a great place to 'base' your Port Stephens stay...We're just 2 hours easy drive north of Sydney, with easy access to the Hunter wineries and vineyards, Barrington Tops rainforest, Morpeth town markets, and, Newcastle and Maitland is only 30-45 minutes away.
Check out our ratings & reviews online, and keep us in mind If your heading north or south on the Pacific Highway, as we make a ideal stopover with quick and easy access to/from the freeway... And also now that the new Hunter Expressway cross-link is opened, if your heading west across the state...
We're minutes to:- Horizons NSW Open Golf Course, marinas, sand & surf beaches, cinemas, restaurants, Bowling/RSL Clubs, Dolphin/Whalewatch cruises...4WD sand dune board surfing & fishing...
Great day trips to:- Morpeth markets and antique shops (Australia's first inland port). Hunter Valley wineries & vineyards, para-gliding/hot-air ballooning, ferry rides to Tea Gardens/Hawks Nest...FighterTown museum at Williamstown, scuba-diving, Barramundi farm and restaurant...

Koalas in the trees!
Wonderful hosts and wonderful location in a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle. Was amazing to have koalas in the trees across the road from the B&B and in the nearby reserve. Immaculately clean and tidy accommodation that feels so welcoming and homely. Thanks for a lovely experience.
A home away from home and even more!
Very relaxing and awe-inspiring! Very clean and artistically designed ...dynamic owners too!
Excellent Property & Great Value
We had a great time at the Bayviews B&B. Very clean and recently renovated house. Nice owners, basic but ample breakfast more than sufficient for our needs. Very quiet location but not far from beaches and the town centers. Excellent value for money. Thanks George and Chris!
Wonderful hosts and amazing value
George and Chris are obviously people who love being able to provide an outstanding service, and enjoy connecting with other human beings. Highly recommended for their warmth and hospitality, as well as the cleanliness and quality of accommodation. New bed was great George!
Excellent property in a very quite setting!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed is super comfy. The house has beautiful warm decor and ver clean. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in this gorgeous part of the world.
George and Christine were lovely hosts-giving us privacy whilst always being available for queries & advice regarding the local area. Their home is beautiful and we felt as if were surrounded by nature! I was delighted by the kookaburras which came to feed and felt very privileged to be able to feed the male, Max by hand. Christine tried very hard to spot a koala for me but they were being a little shy whilst we were there! Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.Thank you.
Port Stephens is regarded as Australia's dolphin and whalewatch capital with year-round dolphin cruises and wintertime whale cruises twice daily...
