This 2010 remodelled 2nd floor unit is conveniently located 20 minutes from Sky Harbor airport in the Shea-Tatum area adjacent to the exclusive community of Paradise Valley with its multi million dollar homes. This 1240 square foot unit is located at the quiet south end of the complex overlooking Indian Bend wash, and has spectacular views of Mummy mountain and the Praying Monk on Camelback Mountain . Vaulted ceilings give it a roomy feel.
The master bedroom, with queen size bed, has an ensuite bathroom with shower and a jacuzzi tub. The second bedroomhas a king size bed, walk in closet and a private bathroom.
The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, central air, full sized washer and dryer, ironing board and iron, vacuum, three TVs with cable, Blu Ray, ipod player, phone and answering machine, and high speed wi fi.
Recreation: Nearby recreational activities include golf at the Stone Creek and Orange Tree golf courses, just blocks away, superb cycling through Paradise Valley, tennis across the street at the La Camarilla tennis and fitness club,hiking in the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Camelback Mountain and Sqaw Peak, or exploring the Indian Bend wash walking path just outside the door.
Area Amenities: The Shea-Tatum area is popular for its numerous nearby shopping attractions. Paradise Valley Mall is 5 minutes away, the upscale Kierland Commons 10 minutes, and Scottsdale fashion square 20 minutes.
Four grocery stores and numerous other shops from wine boutiques to drugstores are within 2 blocks.
Central location backing on a quiet wash with mountain views
My husband and I spent the month of February in this condo and found it to be very comfortable and clean. We had not used vrbo.com before and were somewhat nervous about renting from an individual unknown to us. We did not need to worry. The owner was very responsive, friendly and courteous in our communications. The photos are accurate depictions of the property. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and had ample storage. The beds were comfortable with plush pillow top mattresses. We had guests during our stay and the split floorplan allowed for privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and the condo as a whole was tastefully decorated. The property is located in a small complex on a busy street. Being an end unit, noise was not an issue at all. The neighbors were friendly, too. I particularly enjoyed the view from the balcony overlooking an open area with mountains in the distance. A nice walking trail was right outside the complex. We enjoyed the close proximity of shopping and restaurants as well. We would definitely stay there again.
This condo has been totally redone and looks great. Clean and well maintained.Very nice balcony with long open views to the mountains. The location is quiet as it is an end unit. The owner Jim is easy to work with and wants to please. We have stayed in
several condos in this area and this one wins - hands down. I would recommend it to a friend or relative and may want to stay here again myself. The upscale neighborhood has lots of great shopping, and numerous restaurants.
