Perfect Waterfront Vacation Spot!

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for our visit to Annapolis! The beautiful house was clean, well-maintained, and had everything our family of 5 needed for a relaxing vacation. We loved spending time on the beach kayaking, canoeing, and fishing but could be in the heart of Annapolis in 10 minutes. Cantler's crab house was a short walk down the street and great fun for all of us. Bob and Sherry were very responsive and thought of everything when outfitting the house. With so much to do our week flew by. Would highly recommend this great spot!

This property offers a unique setting with modern comfort, quality construction. Quiet and Scenic.

I would give this property a very positive thumbs up! The owners coordinated our plans and helped make my arrival and stay as easy as possible. Our week went too fast, and we enjoyed everyday in the Annapolis area, looking forward to returning to our "TreeHouse" at the end of each day. During our week long stay we enjoyed the peaceful serenity of the cabin setting and creature comforts of a modern home. The home is very well appointed, tons of good books to read, and can accommodate a family or couple. This was a great memory, and I would highly recommend this property to those seeking a quality home with a rustic and down to earth feel. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for the holidays!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for the Christmas holidays to be close to our family in Columbia, MD, and I can honestly say that it was the most comfortable and relaxing place we've ever stayed. The beauty and serenity of the water view was taken in and loved by all and makes this place spectacular. The owner even put out a tree and some decorations to make it feel Christmassy, which was hugely appreciated by all! For Christmas day, we had our daughters, son-in-law and a baby here with other extended family and were easily able to entertain and feed everyone. Lots of thoughtful kitchenware and supplies made cooking a feast possible. The exquisite views, quiet location, amenities, and the overall comfort of the Treehouse made this a relaxing and memorable vacation for the whole family! Thank you for allowing to use your rental home and for the special allowance you made for us!

It's a lovely house with Danish modern furniture & a great view!

We spent Thanksgiving week at this Annapolis property, and very much enjoyed our time there. While the pots and pans were well-used, we did cook an entire Thanksgiving meal there and enjoyed it at the table overlooking the water. Almost every room has a great view of the water. We did have a couple of minor issues, but the owner came right away to take care of them. We found the property to be clean, user friendly and ideal for three generations. We enjoyed two days in Annapolis, one having lunch and strolling the town, the other on a self-guided tour of the Naval Academy's amazing campus. We also walked up the road a half mile to the soccer field and playground, where we spent a few happy hours playing soccer, frisbee and tag. Afterwards, our son-in-law and grandson jumped in the water to cool off! One night we splurged on dinner at the Seafood place at the end of the road (those old-fashioned crab shacks are no longer cheap, but it's a great place for Maryland crab cakes). Some of us visited the Baltimore Aquarium two days of our visit--it's such a great place! We would definitely recommend this spot, and would love to return in the warmer months.

Very Happy Experience

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed our stay, 15 min from downtown Annapolis but the location of the house feels secluded. The house fit our needs for four adults and two young kids. My daughter loved the water access, but my favorite part was the lack of noise…the hum of a couple of boats, water slapping the shore, just simply peaceful. The homeowner was excellent and simply an overall great experience with HomeAway.

Treehouse in Paradise

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous stay at the 'Treehouse' overlooking mill creek. It was clean and well appointed and the layout was great for relaxing inside the house or out. My love and I were looking for a quiet getaway for a few days and this home and location fit the bill perfectly. We spent everyday down on the creek fishing, crabbing and swimming and also used their two person kayak for a nice paddle to the bay. Even though we were 10 minutes to Annapolis we never made it there….instead we chose to hang about and completely unwind in a serene paradise among the tall trees, song birds and mill creek. Although, we did make the walk to Cantler's which was also a great experience. Bob and Sheryl went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and we highly recommend the 'Treehouse' to any couple, family, or group of friends looking for a relaxing getaway.
