Seix House Rental Photos and Description

Ariégeoise old building of the 19th century, renovated and enlarged.

The house is bright, spacious (130 m2) located in the countryside in a quiet valley just next to the village of Seix (1 km, 3 minutes by car). The place, very quiet, invites to relaxation and well-being. Many walks are possible directly from the house in all directions; Salat valleys, Oust, Seix, the many mountain trails. You can go to the village on foot through the forest (15 min). The house, located high, there is a beautiful view of the hills, forests and surrounding mountain peaks. A large garden you can eat outside and enjoy the sun.

There is a private car park (not covered) by the house. One can also park a second car in the property, which is surrounded by a plot of 3000 m2. Below the property runs a small stream, shallow, and it is nice for the kids to be able to refresh it when it's hot.

Lease on two floors, has an area of ​​130 m2: Entrance hall, living room, four bedrooms, kitchen, pantry, bathroom and toilet (independent). Resetting tool and wood in the garden in front of the kitchen (see photos).

-from The ground -chaussée you find:

 - An entry with great coat rack, shoe closet, mirror. Separate toilet. Utility room (with washing machine).

- A large living room (42 m2) spacious, fully equipped; 4 chairs, 1 shepherdess 3 seats, 1 sofa bed (sleeping two people, sofa bed). TV, DVD player (library books, DVDs and CDs), stereo and Internet connection. A large window door (south) provides access to a large balcony (8 m2) with a view across a wooded hill on the left view of the garden and the forest, a right view of the mountain tops. The three windows allow pleasant sunshine from morning to night.

- One bedroom (11 m2), with lots of storage. Two 80 cm beds, equipped with slatted bases, also let a sleeping 160 cm if we put them side by side. The window overlooks the garden and the surrounding mountain peaks. Games and books for children.

- A large fully fitted kitchen; 4 burner gas hob, oven, toaster, large refrigerator, table (extendable), chairs, covered for 8 people, etc. A large sliding glass door allows direct access to the kitchen in a large sunny garden with table, chairs and umbrella for outside dining.

another room of 10 m2, a window overlooking the wooded hills. 2 single beds.

- Upstairs: The bathroom with shower, toilet and sink small closet.

- A room of 12 m2, equipped with large closets, a double bed, bedside tables. French window faces east, overlooking the garden and mountain tops.

-Another Room of 13 m2, also equipped with large closets and a double bed. Two windows with views of hills and forest. Bedside tables and desk.

Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday and is scheduled for 8 + people. The linens are not provided. Cleaning is done by the tenants. Pets are allowed provided that they do not damage. The heating is electric, there is a woodburner in the lounge. Hot water is provided by an electric water heater.

Une bien belle adresse

Bonjour, Nous avons fort apprécié ce séjour de 15 jours passé à Baubere, séjour qui a demaré par l'accueil sympathique et prévenant du propriétaire.

Rien ne manquait: ni le calme, la verdure, le jardin, l'espace ( ah le salon avec son ´décor de théâtre ´ et la vue sur les montagnes!), les divers équipements (c'est rare de tout trouver dans une location)...pour profiter au maximum de nos vacances, que ce soit pour les petits ou pour les grands.

En pleine nature, mais à 20 minutes à pieds par la forêt du centre de Seix. Et ce ne sont pas les ballades qui manquent: sommets, cols, lacs, villages.....

Bref un superbe séjour dans un cadre magnifique.

belle location

Maison confortable pour 8 personnes..entourée de verdure .tres tranquille et a la fois proche du village a pied.nous avons fait de belles rando,village Oust visite tres agréable. Coin de peche a recommander malgre l absence de truites pour nous!,,nous avons passe un tres bon we en ariege

Goede, ruime woning, uitstekend uitgangspunt.

Zeer ruim huis, grote tuin, goede keuken en badkamer, goed sanitair, nieuwe wasmachine. Vanuit o.a. slaapkamer zicht op de bergen (zonsopgang fantastisch). BBQ aanwezig.

Seix is een leuk dorpje aan de rivier de Salat. Goed voor de dagelijkse boodschappen (kan lopend in een kwartier bereikbaar). Wil je veel en goedkoop boodschappen doen, dan met de auto in 20 minuten naar Saint-Girons (o.a. Carrefour). Marc Klinkhamer, de eigenaar van het huis, verstaat en spreekt ook Nederlands. Toevallig was hij bij het huis om ons welkom te heten, en hij gaf ons tips en wetenswaardigheden over de omgeving en het gehuchtje waar het huis staat. Wij hadden een prettig contact met hem en met zijn zoon Raphael. Het huis en de tuin geven 100% privacy. De plek is een goede uitgangspositie voor ontspannende en inspannende wandelingen in de heuvels en de bergen. Denk aan watervallen en vergezichten, leuke bergdorpjes. In de directe omgeving ook een geinig museum over handelaren van vroeger die door de bergen trokken (de zgn Colporteurs). Wil je wat verder, dan is een dagje Carcasson, Foix, en de diverse grotten leuk om te doen. Kaartmateriaal en foldertjes in het huis. Samenvattend: heerlijk ruim en goed toegerust huis als uitvalsbasis voor deze streek van Frankrijk. Van harte aanbevolen. Arnold & Janet

Ecrin de verdure

Avec un certain retard, nous venons enfin vous remercier pour le très

agréable séjour que nous avons passé à Seix, fin juin. Nous avons pu

apprécier et profiter de votre magnifique gîte avec grande satisfaction

ainsi que nos 2 filles et 3 petites-filles. Nous tenions à vous

remercier pour la beauté de cet endroit et de la maison que vous avez si

joliment décorée et équipée dans les moindres détails. Rien ne manquait

pour passer de très bonnes vacances pour les enfants et pour les grands . On s'est vite senti comme à la maison dans cet écrin de verdure et la

découverte des Pyrénées du Haut Couserans nous a enchantés.

de vraies vacances

excellentes vacances nous avons profité de cette belle région au sein d'un parc naturel. Nous étions déjà venue dans cette location il y a trois ans, mais en hiver.La maison est très agréable, propre et bien entretenue, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes enneigées. On a pu manger dehors (avec un pull ! ), pour un mois d'avril, il faisait plutôt doux. On peu aller au village à pied, ou il y a tout ce qu'il faut.

The property is located in a small valley near the village of Seix in Haut Couserans, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Pyrenees. The house is surrounded by nature, in a haven of peace and quiet, but very close to the village (1km). Accessible by car (3 minutes by road) or walk through the forest (15 min). In the village you will find many shops, several gourmet restaurants, a post office and the tourist area offering many activities; hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, rafting, trips to the mountains, lake and swimming, etc. The region, very touristic offers numerous festive and artistic events (concerts, shows, festivals, etc ....)
