About Vacasa of the Northern California Coast
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Please consider the following guidelines when booking this property:

It was okay. It is an older house,
The attention to details is what awesome about this home
The kitchen is nicely appointed, the views of the trees, animals, and not a spec of dust to be found anywhere.....the linens where all fluffy, and the beds extremely comfortable
Even both clocks were exactly the same time!?
I can’t say enough about the comfort and cleanliness of this home and would stay again, in a heart beat.
Thankyou so much to the homeowners for providing a very very nice stay for us. we couldn’t have enjoyed it more
Carole's Cove was a great place to spend a relaxing few days along the Mendocino Coast. The home was very cozy, came with a fully stocked kitchen and is located conveniently to both Mendocino and Fort Bragg. I could not recommend it more and I look forward to going back!
We loved staying here It was very homey, well equipped kitchen and a cupboard full of spices and other things you only need a little of. We had a lot of rain and a two hour power failure. Even found a lantern which we never had to use.
Only drawback was no other source of heat when the power went out.
Very clean home. Very comfortable and well maintained.
Very relaxing and comfortable home. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. A storm came through while we were there and it was great sitting in the living by the fire and watching the rain and wind. The local flock of wild turkeys came through the yard every morning. Extremely convenient location almost exactly halfway between Mendocino and Fort Bragg.
Great peaceful get away
Great location, close to Fort Bragg and Mendocino but in a very peaceful area. Great view of the ocean and enjoyed watching the wildlife in the morning. The cabin has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The Safeway in Fort Bragg was a good place to stock up and any needed items. Lots of places to explore within a short drive from the property.
